Ali ranks in most peoples top 10, even top 5 ATG list, Mayweather's outside most top 30 list, he can think whatever he wants, but people who have been watching boxing for 30-40+ years know the score.

Bull****, what makes you think fans would ever accept Pac losing to Floyd Mayweather? It would be excuses just like how people were claiming JMM was on roids when he KO'd Pac. They'd say Floyd beat a washed up Pac and it wont matter. Quit acting like they would accept it or that it'd boost Mayweather. Mayweather is ALREADY favored in a fight against Pac and considered the better pure boxer and had been for years and on top of that he's been more successful in the ring since 2009. There's boxers who have looked better than Manny since 09 who deserve a fight with Mayweather MORE than Manny but boxing is a popularity contest and Manny is more popular than them so people scream for Pac as if Floyd wouldn't outbox him to death.
Talks cheap, I want to see them fight as do most people. Don't believe me, than create a poll and see which fighter boxing fans most want to see Floyd fight. Two he'll silence his critics, and three he'll propel himself much higher on the ATG P4P list. So if it's an easy fight for Floyd let's see it happen and quite making excuses for him, he's pretty good at making his own.

Naw Ali got him so does Ray Robinson, Ray Leonard & Duran he really needed to fights like Pacquiao in 2009 and Cotto in 2007 but for whatever reason never happened ah well
