I like Mayweather but I'm surprised a reporter never followed up and ask him what fighters that you have beaten that made you the GOAT see with Ali you can say Fraizer Patterson Foreman Norton Liston etc with Mayweather what DLH Cotto Alvarez Heranandez Castillo Mosley while they are not bad fighters they don't seem to be as strong as Ali and then you have to factor in the time he fought them Cotto in 2011 while not shot was not Cotto from 2007 DLH in 2007 is not DLH from 2002 and Mosley in 2010 is not Mosley from 2001 again not short changing Floyd but come on

 

Better than Ali? That's comedy gold right there. Ali fought the most feared HW fighters without a grumble.

Floyd has some decent wins but let's be serious now, he's avoided the real threats for a very long time and fought fighters who have had success, not fighters that pose a real threat.

If you don't you might as well not even take the court/field/ring. In order to be the best, you cannot accept that anyone's better than you. It's a mindset. Now obviously, he takes it a little far, but I guarantee he wouldn't be where he is today if he didn't think that highly of himself. You guys just love hanging on this dude's every word. I don't get it. I don't even care about this and I'm a fan of his.
