Floyd Is Ducking Pacquaio

Pacquiao is not demanding 50-50. He is on video telling American reporters he'd take less of a gauranteed purse than Floyd, but the PPV% had to be 50-50, it's on youtube.

Pacquiao will be halfway responsible for any PPV buys and the fight breaking records, that's a reasonable request. He'd be forfeiting potentially tens of millions of dollars allowing Mayweather to be the only one benefitting from the fight selling and breaking records by taking 100% of the PPV.

Mayweather is not even offering 45%, not even 35%, he's sticking to no PPV for Pac. That's a joke and that 0% is a true reflection of how much Mayweather wants the fight.

 

Is Floyd Sr. suggesting that Floyd is going to take PED's?

Regarding comments he made before his son faced Miguel Cotto when he stated he believed it would be a difficult fight for his son:

Naw...it's because of Mayweather but...with the help of Mexicans fighter in the undercards on a Mexican Hoilday .

 

you have to understand boxing is not an easy sport, this sport we have witnessed Levander Johnson we have witnessed very tragic events at the result of fighters taking tuff fights, McClellon the whole bit we know this.

and we also know Floyd is going to make sure that if he is putting his life his health on the line in fighting a guy like Pacquiao you better believe if he is going to be willing to take a fight that is going to leave him battered bruised and walking funny he is going to make sure if anything that he gets as much money possible for taking such a beating.

and thats what this is about thats why he is holding out, he knows this fight may change the way he feels about the sport, he knows he very well may end up knocked out messing with Pacquiao and like the others that fell before him so why not get all the money you can knowing whats in store for you in this kind of fight?

It's a duck by Floyd if he stands firm on his $40 million no PPV offer to Pac. It's equivalent to a 70-30 split in his favor. By comparison, Oscar gave him a better deal being a PPV startup (3 fights with highest buy of 379,000). Floyd made $25 million or 33% (67-33 split in favor of Oscar). Pac is not a PPV startup.
