I hate FMJ (as he talks too much for me) but he is not a coward. He is more of a businessman than a coward. FMJ likes to get some kind of advantage going into fights (ODLH does too - gloves, weight etc) and he simply could not get things his way. So he played it safe, which is kind of how he acts once you peel off all the ****-talk. Also he doesn't want to go into this fight without Roger.
