Now people will say that this is from an unreliable website, but where do you expect these type of rumours to be posted? You think Golden Boy is gonna post this **** on their own website?

I think this is too big of a coincidence NOT to be true. You have a statement telling you to expect a fighter to withdraw from a particular high profile fight in the near future, then just over a month later that happens.

People were calling this bull**** and asking to see a reliable source - the fact that Mayweather has actually pulled out because of an injury renders the calls for a good source redundant. Either the person who came out with this has struck gold with one of the luckiest guesses ever, or there is truth to this rumour.

Before you start to gloat Soriano, word will be out soon enough to see how Mayweather got injured and how bad it is.......

If its not a bad injury, the fight is likely to be postponed no more than a month and your theory about poor ticket sales would'nt hold water......

    .....lets wait and see *******!;)

    You dont know PacDbest? :rofl

Talk about legend. Predicted Pac would beat De La Hoya, Hatton and Mayweather all in the same night like a year before it happened.

:lol::lol:.....having said what I did, I'm rooting for the fight to be rescheduled for the middle of September, the Mexican Independence weekend festivities.......
.....not only does it give JMM a proper amount of time to put on the weight he has to put on properly, but it could'nt be more fitting if JMM would beat Mayweather, for him to do it during the Mexican Independence day festivities.....
What a blockbuster independence weekend that would be for Mexico.....

This postponment has the potential to turn up Roses for Juan Manuel Marquez......the postponment imo gives JMM the advantage in being able to bulk up properly.

I'm rooting for the fight to be re-scheduled mid-September!:yep

i tend to be skeptical of a "report" on floyd-marquez from a guy with the filipino flag in his avi:lol:.....

could it really be that bad 300 tickets sold.....and its only a month and half out?

I doubt that would happen, but if it did, I doubt that would be a GBP decision......if the fight is scrapped, I'd have to believe that decision would totally be Mayweather's.

.....obviously as a JMM fan, I'd be totally dissapointed......I really am looking foward to see what he can do with a fighter who is elitely skilled, is bigger, and who is or is very close to his prime.

Its a shame Marquez did'nt have the opportunity to match his great skills against the greats in his prime weight of featherweight......
.....sometimes things in life happen for a reason, and fate may have something wonderful in store for him now, down the stretch of his career.

A fight against Mayweather is a shot at immortality for JMM.....I cant think of an active fighter now that deserves this opportunity more than him......so yes, I'd be extremely dissapointed to have this opportunity get snatched from under him.
