hmm says . . . no but the ppv will speak more volumes... but numbers shouldn't be a concern.. it's the fight itself. I for one, being half a world away in a country where boxing doesn't really exist will be tentative for this saturday's results.
Fair enough - I still reckon it'll be interesting,, and after buying into the 'oscars too big for pac' thing I aint goin there again,, and I bet you'll still be watching it on a stream / bar etc though:bbb Bottom line is its still an interesting fight
We're not only talking about size advantage here... There's more... so what your saying his ... you ***** after every fighter who takes a tune up fight after they been out 2 years... geez your hard on boxing
No I won't if the boxers/promoters openly say that's it's a tuneup fight, an expected mismatch fight and not hyping it as a superfight... Just don't fool the fans...
Just checked. There are thousands of tickets available in all catagories but ringside. The scalpers have already purchased and they will go bust.I expect the house to be papered by GBP to avoid being embarrassed.atsch
You're dumb. Nobody cares about ticket sales... PPV buys is where the money is. I thought everybody knew that?
Are you ****ing nuts? The Casino sure cares who hosts this event. The promoters don't care of a full house? Those seats represent million of dollars. I think you ought to take a lesson on basic economics if you don't think the live gate means nothing.Of course,PPV is the beast but the live gate is important, otherwise they would hold the fight in a gym.******.:-(
Wasn't Tyson a 40 to 1 favorite to beat Buster Douglass? Being the bigger man don't guarantee a victory Don't forget Roy Jones vs. Ruiz, Roy' weight was 193 to 226 for Ruiz or Michael Spinks vs Larry Holmes first fight was 199 for Spinks 221 for Holmes, second fight was 205 Spinks to 223 for Holmes. In these two examples that I've given the smaller man won, so it has been and can be done!!!! :nod:nod:nod Got the weights from www.boxrec.com
Look fool.. A fight can flop at the gate and still clean up in PPV sales. Thats just the way it is.:hi:
The fight will be sold out on fight night people. Last week GBP and MGM Grand indicated it was 95% booked. anyways I just laugh. Lol at all the haters so quick so cry "Floyd has never been a draw yadda yadda yadda". Compare the gate and the PPV with Floyd-DLH, Floyd-Hatton, and coming up Floyd-Marquez, with Pac's in those respective fights! But when you do that everyone just says, "who cares about sells and PPVs, they are the cancer of the sport". atsch
How is work rate even? That goes to JMM. How is ego a category? How is style a category? How can we guess on stamina after a 2 year layoff? That goes to JMM. Height is not an advantage. And they are basically the same height anyways.
