My goodness... McGreggor is a good boxer BY MMA STANDARDS, how in hell can be competitive when McGregor doesn't have a single boxing match and Mayweather has been boxing his entire life, the amateur background of McGregor is not even top level in Ireland and the boxers he has faced in the ufc aren't close to a contender level fighter in boxing, Eddie Alvarez isn't Floyd Mayweather and Nate Diaz, arguably the best boxer that McGregor has faced, isn't even close to a contender or even a good journeyman. Cody Gardbrant is arguably the best boxer in the UFC with fast hands, good head movement, footwork and power and he still looks like **** in sparring. Cowboy Cerrone, Carlos Condit and Melvin Guillard, all good mma fighters (Condit is elite) all of them lose to journeymen in boxing matches. Anderson Silva, the MMA goat and a much better striker than McGregor with much better head movement but he couldn't make a decent boxing record against low caliber opposition. And again, did you saw the sparring session of Conor vs Chris Van Herdeen?, who was destroyed by Errol Spence, that was months ago but even with the experience in these months, McGregor isn't beating Van Heerden in a boxing match let alone Floyd Mayweather.
