Mosley stopped iron chinned margarito, mosley couldn't stop mayweather. One bad round ain't enough to effect mayweather mindset in the ring. We saw that as mosley never won another round.

Floyd ain't afraid to receive pac's punches, in floyd's mind pac wont even land on him.

Youre still eluding from the fact that you and the poster who said "if" didnt know Margo had like 5 "L"s on his record before losing to Shane.:nut

When everyone could see Floyd vs Cotto coming, Cotto & Arum didn't want it @ that time. & Cotto also never really made a bid to fight Floyd like most of the other fighters did. Also, Floyd has called Shane out @ least twice & Shane didn't want it. he retired when he felt there was nothing else to prove & came back when Pac climbed the ladder. I think he'll fight Pac next year & silence the critics.

BigBone - solid, well thought out post.

Only Floyd knows if you're correct with your assumption but I'm inclined to believe that egos are the main reason for the delay. Mayweather conceded enough to make the fight for March and Pac/Arum decided to take the Clottey fight instead for whatever reason. Mayweather decided to one-up Pac with the Mosley fight and now feels that Pac needs to come to him and let him negotiate from the position of power, which Arum will never go along with. Mayweather decided to not acknowledge the deadlines, media, etc hoping and expecting the public to agree with his stance, which they clearly haven't. Much of this is due to Arum's rather brilliant media manipulation strategy that seems to have become public opinion - Floyd is a ducking coward. I think the recent rant is more frustration with the way things have been portrayed. This would also explain why he went running to King, who himself is also a master of media manipulation.

Anyway, I've been pretty consistent in saying that I hope Pac/Margo does big numbers as that is the only way I see the fight being made for May 2011. If the numbers stink up the joint like the Clottey fight, how can anyone expect Mayweather to take 50/50 or let Pac/Arum dictate anything? I know we "want" and "hope" he does and "**** you you're not a boxing fan" if you agree with Floyd, but you have to look at things from his perspective too in order to be fair.

 Using the term "IF" when talking of him bbeing undefeated means he's currently NOT undefeated. Yeah, no one but you knew Margarito had losses.... what a ****in idiot you are. All you are trying to do is save face. :patsch

You can't talk boxing with them...just **** on them and talk to the next poster. They are *******s and Margotards who hate the fact Floyd is undefeated...

    Good points.

I believe Floyd has a great promotional team by his side, and they will build this fight to be the biggest in boxing history! This fight will happen, and I am predicting in the spring of next year.

As for the threadstarter; well it's really a case of trying to find and explanation? Well imo, the explanation is money, be patient and this fight will happen.

Gow, this stuttering ***** knows no bounds, and trollingly does this to any Floyd fan he can get his hands on. Ignore him and move on..instead of going back and forth with him and his infantile rants. 6 months from now his sorry as will remind you of this "if" post lol...:rofl

I remember fans and critics were calling Sugar Leonard a coward when his team decided not to fight Hearns... They wanted to build up the fight, and we saw a great fight!

    Churping

    "No definitions found for 'churping'"

    Chirping.

"To make a shop, sharp, cheerful, as of small birds or
    crickets."

    Just for future reference. :smoke

    To thread originator, Bigbone.
Good write-up, but I think, a little extreme. Don't believe Mayweather was really as hurt in Rd 2 as some believe. Seemed to me like any average fight "give and take" round. Not as if Floyd went down or was even on the verge of such. He shook it off and put a hurtful ass whopping on Mosley. :yep
