What so many people forget (or apparently never knew in the first place) is that Floyd was an all-timer from his 130lbs resume.

Excuses already. In case you didn't know there are always "fight night" weight disparities between fighters of the same weight class - this can also be huge.

    So what's your point?

Cotto, sadly, was already damaged goods by the time Manny got to him.

I honestly believe a pre- Margarito'd Cotto would've taken Manny out - alas, now we'll never know, and Cotto will no doubt become fodder for up-and-coming fighters, just as Hatton will surely become...

However, in Mayweather, Manny's coming up against a BIG, skilful guy who's picked his opponents SO carefully for the last 4 years it's just embarrassing, and who, consequently, is fresh as a daisy.

'Money' will be one bridge too far for the amazing Philipino, which will take nothing away from his incredible achievements, but, conversely, should add nothing to Mayweather's.

    Mayweather. C*O*W*A*R*D.

    God bless.

Exactly. Calling a championship caliber professional fighter, much less someone of Mayweather's magnitude, a coward is insanity.

Should add nothing to MAyweathers legacy? that has got to be the dumbest **** I've ever heard on here. Who the **** are you? Manny is the best of a generation along with Floyd. This will be Floyds biggest challenge, not Williams (Floyd destroys Williams) and certainly not Cotto, Mosely will be the best but he loses too I'm afraid. Then will you give Floyd credit? I mean damn, I get tired of his stupid **** too sometimes but to say beating Pac doesn't mean anything for him is just rediculious ramblings of a true hater. Floyds really got you by the balls.....

    :hi:

  10. But this is just irrelevant. If Hatton walks around at 320 lb that fact is unrelated to the matter of his fighting weight.

How come he's a welterweight but he's never fought a welterweight in his entire life? Coincidence I guess.

According to his conditioing coach at the time,Hatton weighed 154 on the night of the Floyd fight, which would make him at least as big if not bigger than Floyd when they got in the ring.

OK, he is a welter. He can and will kick any and all WW title holders asses. There is no one out there that can beat him at WW.

Mosely? Berto? Manny? FMJ holds down the WW division. The only "threat" is Paul Williams and he isn't a WW.
