Baldomir hadnt lost a fight in 10 years. Hell Margarito is halfway there. He'll be at 6 tomorrow. Maybe he should start driving cabs.
Mitchell was past his prime and had two bum knees. Gatti has alot of heart and pretty much no skill. Gatti was the weakest champ at 140 and Floyd cherry picked him. Judah has been koed by Zun in two rounds and by Cotto in the 11. Baldo had ten losses and beat Gatti. Everyone had beat Corley. Then you are left with Hatton who was all hype and Oscar past his prime. You really proved your point.
Well I picked Cotto to win. Margo is gettn a huge payday. He could start his own cab company. Baldo did not fight top fighters during those ten years.
Roberto Duran who lost to William Joppy in 98 or so also had a title(s) at one point so what is your point? But since you chose to list Mayweather opponents let take a look... Corley -Please Bruseles- No need to explain Gatti -Old punching bag Mitchell- old Judah -good win Baldomir -refer to my ongoing thread Oscar -refer to this thread http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?t=38562 Hatton decent win but 140 lbs fighter
I don't like using hindsight but we really don't need to here. Hatton looked ordinary as hell against Collazo at 147, his only other outting besides the Mayweather fight. Judah had struggled prior to the Baldomir fight with Rafael Pineda, another unheralded welterweight. Truly the only two great performances Zab Judah had at 147 is against Cosme Rivera, a journeyman, and Cory Spinks, a light punching southpaw who recieved a gift against Ricardo Mayorga as his claim to fame.
Mosley is an atg. Abdulaev was a gold medalist. Pinto was undefeated before Cotto killed him. Torres was undefeated till he fought Cotto. Then you have Malignaggi and Quitana that wer e also undefeated.
Abdulaev is no higher in class then Bruseles. So is Pinto. Torres is a solid B+ level fighter, not better then Hatton however, Malignaggi will get beat by Hatton this fall and Quintana is good, but not great. got KO'd in 1 round by Williams. As for Mosley, he was 36, a near 10 age difference, and off the roids. I rate Floyds win over Oscar better.
Adbulaev was a gold medelist in the olympics and Pinto was a silver medalist. Bruseles did not win any olympic medals nor did he even go. Bruseles is no in the same level as them. He did beat Oscar. I had it very close. Had Oscar kept his jab up he would have won. Plus all the hbo commentators kept saying how good Shane looked. Shane was not past his prime in anyway.
Age dont mean ****. Did you see Moorer vs Foreman. What was that like a 20 year difference. What else you got?
Mitchell was a warm up fight at 147 nohting more. Gatti was the BEST FIGHT AVAILABLE AT 140. I bet you feel he ducked Zoo. Cotto beat Judah after Baldo, Floyd and Zoo beat him. Yet I bet you give Cotot more credit than Floyd because he finished him. Oscar past his prime? I could of swore in another post age doesn't matter? Contradict yourself more **** face.
So its okay for Cotto to fight an even OLDER Shane. And you say age doesn't mean ****. But Oscar younger than Shane you discredit Floys win for being past his prime. Shane is far from his ****ing prime and he / his team gave him illegal supplements to even compete at the top level.
Shane V Collazo = Shane shutout Hatton V Collazo = Hatton escaping with a D by the skin of his teeth Its clear Shane is the bigger threat to anyone at WW.
I thought Floyd couldn't KO Hatton? Shane "My Tooth Hurts" Mosley is too old and needs illegal supplements to compete.
