Floyd Mayweather Jr. is My Favorite Fighter because of what he does...IN THE RING!!!

It's amazing how these Mayweather fans have to keep reminding them selfs how great there hero is. You would think if they were really that proud of him. Then they would let his actions speak for them selfs.

 

I'm reminded what a great and humble human being he is when I think of the numerous times he tried to clean up the sport of boxing.
He is truly blessed to be able to prove boxing is a clean sport fight after fight, year after year.
15 years of domination and sports medicine mastery!

The people who hate him unconditionally are the ones who have the prroblem.

 

I respect that you like Floyd for what he does in the ring. I do myself. I really don't care what he does outside the ring as long as it doesn't affect anyone else.

But a lot of his hate comes from how he tries to portray himself. Mike Tyson has done FAAAAAR more negative things in his day yet his fans and casual fans still love him for some reason or anther....For Floyd...it's harder for the casual fans or even hardcore boxing fans to "like" him. For me..>Floyd is the best boxer, skill wise and one of the most talented fighters I've ever seen. And he's accomplished a lot which I respect and give him his just dues. But I do understand why many do not like Floyd....Floyd makes it easy.

Bottom line Boxing is blessed to have Floyd grace the squared circle....As fans whether you like him or not you are still witnessing "greatness". I don't agree with everything Floyd has done more recently in his career but who is anyone to say he's not doing it right? At least when it comes to his own career.

I agree, however I was saying that his antics including his ego of thinking that he is greater than some of Boxing's Legends in just completely absurd. But I am still a fan of what he does...IN THE RING!

 

The persona of "money" the guy who attacks the character and personal life of other fighters makes me sick to my stomach.

Mosley's divorce is none of his business, and saying he is going to give his son a suit is a ****ing disgusting gesture.

What type of person watches floyd accuse people of cheating and bring up their divorces, and then praises him, like it's some cool ****.

I also seperate what a fighter does in the ring from what he does outside of it. Like Nazim said, when the guy puts his gloves on is when I start to care.

Pac is my favorite fighter though, by far, the guy is simply a ****ing great fighter who can do **** that noone else even comes close.

I'm sure there will be a "Valid" excuse in Floyd's defense coming from his legion of over protective fans should that happen. Although I have to disagree....I think Floyd is gonna outpoint shane. I think Shane deserves this kind of fight but it may be happening too late in his career. It would be better if Floyd won and decided to face Manny. Pipe dream? I hope not.
