You think Maidana in 2010 was as good and the same as he was in 2014?

Just compare the opening rounds. In 2014, Maidana wasn´t crossing his feet. He did not constantly lean over his lead leg. He actually feinted to get a read on Floyd. He did not blindly throw his jab in hopes of landing it, instead he often used it to measure the distance and Floyd´s reactions. The jab was used properly to set up his back hand.
I also like how in 2014 he was always moving his upper body, unlike in 2010 when he would stand tall in a high guard while marching into punching range.

TLDR; Maidana was much better in 2014 than in 2010. It´s one of the more amazing technical evolution's in the 2000s.

 

Shhhhh !! That makes Amir & Floyd joint favorites if Floyd had kept his word. Imagine Floyd goes to UK to fight Amir & gets the shaft & loses !!!!!!!!!!! & doesn't have his back up protecting him?? Now that could be Karma at work lol No way in Hades would Floyd venture abroad to fight a legitimate opponent

Timing beats speed as shown repeatedly against Khan, Floyd is one of the most intelligent fighters of all time, he'd struggle somewhat for a couple rounds then straight right him to the canvas multiple times. I like Amir he is extremely entertaining and brave but he would get what he asked for.

 

All this thread has done is make me wish for a Pac-Maidana fight c2014
