I could knick pick here and there on what hes said, but overall great interview.... people probably wont believe me but i do feel for floyd and think hes right on a lot of things, but damn, he then goes and says completely crazy off the wall **** thats just pure bull****.

that being said, i really dont see how someone can be a fan of this guy over someone like Pac, and he actually used to be in my top 15 favorite fighters, thats hard to believe.....

i can tell he envies what hatton has as a fanbase, its as plain as day....
uk fighters can go out and fight and get knocked out and their still chanting his name but american fighters dont have that? what about gatti? he often fought in america and would often lose, yet would still be the one whos fans were there to see him the next time he fought just as supportive as the last fight. Why? it doesnt take much to see and to know why.....

And alright, mayweather doesnt fight for legacy, we get it..... and thats fine. But its also fine that people have the right to choose who they like and dont like, and i prefer champions who go out there and fight for the people, who ya, could probably coast by on their skills, but have that fire raging within them to go out and DO MORE.... to impose their will and break their opponents down even if it means tasting their own blood. I appreciate what mayweather displays, and we need that kind of fighter in boxing.... but that doesnt mean fans dont have the right to choose who they appreciate more at the same time, THAT is why guys like Gatti and Hatton HAVE the fanbases they do.... where they CAN go out there and get knocked out and yet THEIR names are the ones ringing in the air at the end of the night still.

Those fans were paid for by blood sweat and tears..... you reap what you sow, and mayweather hasnt, and it shows. How are you going to ask for that kind of following, when your not the type of fighter that commands it?

There are trade offs in this world.... for the most part, cash hungry safety first fighters dont get legion of fans that will go through every loss and back again with the fighter and still have THAT fighter remain THEIR champion, in their eyes. A true peoples champion.... And fighters that DO do that, usually have brutal careers. Its a trade off.... and mayweather needs to accept that.

Nobody is asking him to go out there and get his head blown off, i appreciate how he boxes.... and i garuntee you if he had a different attitude, he would be liked at a much greater degree by the public, one might say - who gives a **** if hes liked - well, mayweather does, wether he wants to admit it or not, and its easy to see.

alright, so hes in a no win situation....... according to him. The thing is this, even if he IS in a no win situation, which hes NOT because EVERYONE knows that mosley and pac would be some of the BEST opponents hes EVER FOUGHT. nah nah nah.... **** this judah ****, baldomir ****, (we seen pac vs hatton) and all this crap, straight up pac and mosley would be the best fighters mayweather has fought in a long, long, long time, probably EVER.

So hes going to let what a minority of haters say, dictate what he does because he might not (right NOW) get full credit for those wins?

so what does he do? instead of choosing to fight a guy like Pac or Mosley, even if it is a no win situation, he goes LOWER then that and doesnt even give himself the CHANCE to be appreciated, because he then ends up fighting someone that not only is it a truly bizzarre no win situation, a win over them doesnt come close to a win over pac, or mosley. Then he wonders why he gets **** on by media and fans, when the fights they have been wanting to see now for the last 5 years have been the same ones mayweather has refused to give, outside of one (hatton).

For an example.... lets say he doesnt fight pac or mosley, because its a 'no win situation', then goes on to fight spinks or khan. He went from an ATG opponent, whos win WOULD be respected, especially over time.... to an opponent that not only is it a no win situation for floyd, it borders the bizarre as to why he would even choose them in the first place over such a clear and present challenge like the ones he faces today.

nothing is more annoying then a guy who puts himself into the corner hes in, and then tries and act like the victim.

at the same time, yes hes right in a lot of what he says, and i relate to his emotion.... but sometimes bull**** is just bull****.

ill be honest, i feel kinda sorry for mayweather

any fight floyd commentates on after his career im turning the sound of, man he might know his facts but the guy just plain gets on my nerves man

the only reason he gets great ppv numbers is cause people want to see him get knocked out, i admit hes right in that if you you can win a fight without getting hurt and beat up its the best way but his fights are awful to watch,

Why does Floyd talk about Manny having losses on his record as being a reason that he has nothing to gain, when he's only fought 2 undefeated fighters in 40 fights?

I agree with floyd on a lot of this, to me he is keeping it funky, and that's all i can ask of someone. He's being real, they do treat him differently but that's his own fault.

    Let's just make the fight.

Uhh... what is floyd talking about? Morales didn't lose to raheem and then beat pacquiao... it was the other way around!!! Why didn't the interviewer call him on that... made my jaw drop when he said it, how silly

i'm beginning to think when promoting a fight it makes a huge difference... because manny will be a person presented with the opprotunity to steal floyd's L... which is a big part of the mystique of why people want to see floyd mayweather...
