Floyd Mayweather says that you have to have 3 things to be a great fighter.

Floyd is great to watch at times. All times. He can adjust. He can trade when he wants to. Those that say he cant fight are forgetting that he fought his way out of the ghetto and into the upper reaches of our boxing world today. We all know his name. Cooto was the fight that showed his willingness to fight and stand with the other fighter.......

He cant please everyone, so he just pleases himself. He is a good example of what a boxer/fighter should be.

I dont always like the way he goes about his business, but he is not like Lennox or the Klits. They could of destroyed guys in 4 rounds or less but they made sure of the win without feeling the need to revert back to the fighter they were in the beginning. They evolved and they controlled the fight. Safety 1st is a tactic! but there are many idiots that think its a weakness:deal

 

1. Rain on bitches.
2. Train like a ***** (with "Hard work and dedication", but never fights the best only 2nd or 3rd best so you have to take his word. "Legacy don't pay bills, remember? Yet at the sametime wants to be called the best or GOAT. )
3. Cry like a,***** after the fights. Beats a fighter no one wanted to see him fight in the first place, but the fighter "earned it." No thanks. Cry after you beat Maravilla, Lucas, or even Pacman. Even "reluctant Roy Jones Jr" wasnt as reluctant as Floyd.

In boxing, there is no safety first. As long as he doesn't use plaster, get knocked unconscious by a counter right, or cherry pick a guy like Corrie Sanders (R.I.P), or get ktfo in 2 rounds...Floyd is good.

 

Two of the 3 can be seen as right. You don't need one punch power to be great.

there is only two fighters i felt had a very good shot to beat Floyd and that was Paul The Punisher Williams and Sergio Martinez outside of that there isnt a name this generation who can beat Floyd from 154 down.....

The contract gave Floyd the option to come above weight and pay a penalty. He chose that alternative. He paid his dues. He honored the contract!
