and the way it was done as well, coming from behind for the ko.

it is presumed that leonard suffered a detached retina in that fight.

hearns, leonard, duran, curry...they all beat the **** out of floyd at 147 and probably by stoppage. hed have a hard time with mccrory

Stylistic nightmate for Mayweather. He'd be up against someone too tall and long. Not to mention him punching extremely hard as well. I think he'd get knocked out.

dont matter if floyd is in his prime.

at 147, shoulder roll, sushi roll, tootsie roll...hearns lands that first clean overhand right and mayweather is in "making it to the final bell is a victory" mode.

and hearns was a killer and finisher so floyd probably wouldve been ko'd.

How would Mayweather win? Hearns is one of the worst stylistic matchups for Mayweather, in addition to being naturally larger.

Mayweather is a great fighter who just happens to be competing at 147 (and sometimes at 154) at this stage in his career.

I'll match him up with the ATGs at lower divisions.

At 147, more with the Currys, Starlings, Quarteys, DLHs...instead of guys like Hearns and Leonard with whom he often gets matched up with.

    :deal

Plus the fact Hearns was actually a slight favorite, despite Leonard's longer track record goes to show how dangerous and talented he was viewed (and was, flat out) as being. Flattening Cuevas like he did is one of the more memorable welterweight performances there's been. For 12 rounds, they were right for the most part.

I love your posts on Canelo Alvarez too.
