Floyd Mayweather vs. Amir Khan speculation & discussion

He is not being underrated, he is being rated based on his recent performances, which since 2011, have been pretty poor or at least not worthy to short list for a big money payout against Floyd.

Khan has speed, he has quick hands, but he has too low a ring IQ to utilise them effectively. His hands are often too low, he forever drops his right hand, his defence and inside ability are both near on non-existent, the fact that he does spina bifida impressions when he is hit flush at every weight he has ever been at should be a warning sign that his defence, more than anything, needs to be top, yet under every trainer this either has not been addressed (probably wasn't with Roach), or he doesn't follow through instructions come fight night.

On paper, I'm sure Khan could be a threat to Floyd with his speed, but on paper Khan's fight performances since 2011 puts him at the bottom of a list of contenders to fight Floyd. Khan has world class speed, but his world class flaws make him easy pickings for a boxer of Floyd's calibre.

This fight is a joke. I can already picture the outcome. Khan will get knocked out then in the interview he will say "I was winning the fight, but I made a little mistake, I got caught its boxing".
