It will happen mark my words, Floyd don't care about who is the best or who deserves it he wants to see how much money he can make.

Khan is a draw love him or hate him, and the drama queen twitter stuff markets well.

Floyd would have to sell himself short in order to sell a Khan fight, whats crazy is that pre Peterson fight, a Floyd vs Khan fight would have been intriguing given that Khan had a great performance against Zab where on that night he put it all together in terms of a complete performance.

Big payday for Khan and an easy fight for Mayweather. Mayweather will love this.

He beat Zab more convincingly than did Mayweather. Personally I think this was because I didn't see Whitaker in Judah's corner

Khan acting like fighting the winner of Garcia/Peterson/Matthysse would be a tune up.

This fight would sell extremely well if it's made now. It would be more significant and less blatantly unfair to fighters who earned their shot if it happens after a few more fights though. Khan needs to actually beat a top 140lb fighter (Peterson, Matthysse, or Garcia) and pick up a title at 147 vs Alexander or Bradley before he can really be said to deserve a Mayweather fight.

If Khan beats the 140lb champ (probably Matthysse, but a Garcia or Peterson rematch would also be good) and then Alexander or Bradley, give him a Mayweather fight. He should have to build himself to be the top guy at 140, then pick up a title at 147 to make himself a viable opponent. I'm thinking Mayweather's opponent list will look something like:

    MAY: Guerrero
    SEPT: Khan or Alexander
    DEC: 140lb tournament winner (Matthysse)
    MAY: Marquez
    SEPT: Pacquiao
    MAY: Alvarez
    DEC: Bradley

    Watch it not be bull****.

If Khan can reverse his losing streak (thus enabling Floyd to accept his challenge), he has enough name to sell nicely alongside PBF, especially on the other side of the pond. How many more fights did Floyd say? This is easy work he could sell...just sayin'...

Translation: I want to wait until Floyd gets a little older.
