The problem with Khan is he does the same thing he does at the start of the fight all the way through the course of the fight if it even last that long. There's little variation to khans game. An elite master like pbf would figure him out in 2 or 3 rounds and he would be done. Khan doesn't have a prayer of outboxing pbf and anyone who thinks this should be banned for the sake of the forum.

When floyd times Amir Khan it would most likely be from a shot he sees coming - floyds straight right. The only times weve seen khan hurt is by wide shots he couldnt see.

Khan would give Void hell because he is so fast and hits hard, but you have to realize that boxing, esp. in Vegas is corrupt, so Void would own the judges, referee, boxing commission, etc., there is not way anyone can win a decision against Void in Vegas, Void owns Vegas........

How has Khan lost? He starts fast and then the opponent starts to read him and starts to time him.

I think Mayweather has proved over years he is without doubt one of the best fighters to make in fight adjustments, he reads fighters very well and his timing is exceptional.

Khan is fast, that's it, nothing else he does is world class and he has poor punch resistance and his ring IQ is almost non existent.

Mayweather (even at 40) would embarrass Khan, we are talking levels of skill that are so far apart.

I don't know if Khan could have beaten him but he would have pushed him closer than anyone. I don't go along with the timing beats speed theory. Speed is difficult for anyone to handle and FM knew it. He cherry picked and ducked throughout his whole career but the Khan duck was by far the most blatant. Ignoring his own poll which Khan won and fighting Maidana twice when Khan was the mandatory then telling him to get a title after Khan had already beaten Maidana was duck that was impossible to disguise. Then Khan beat Alexander and displayed crazy hand speed in that fight. The next day FM confirmed his reluctance to fight him by saying no one knew who Khan was when outside of him and Pac, Khan was the most talked about guy in boxing. Some people use the Algeri fight as a gauge but the reason for Khan's lackluster performance is this. Algeri wore out a pair of runners in the Pac fight. Algeri was so afraid when he fought Pac that he sprinted away from him so Pac sprinted after him and the ref sprinted after the both of them which resulted in all three of them sprinting around the ring for 12 rds. He came into the Khan fight a totally different fighter, all gung-ho and brave with the mentality of the b grade fighter that he was. These 2nd rate bums like Algeri think that all they have to do is tap Khan on the chin to get him out of there. Khan couldn't get up for the fight after seeing the Pac fight even though he clearly won.
FM don't like speed and would not have the power to knock Khan out. Khan has never been outpointed and that includes the Peterson fight where he was badly fkd in the ass by the ref and judges. Khan would bring his A game and if he could hold his concentration for 12 rds would at least be a chance of the upset. We will never know and the blame can be laid 100% on Floyd for this fight not happening.

There's a reason why Mayweather dodged Khan.
