Why would Floyd be against the ropes fighting tito? Is Tito requesting a midget ring too? and are you suggesting that Tito is hard to hit? or that Floyd is not an accurate puncher?
No I'm watching the highlights of the fight. They are about the same height and that is it. Winky has bigger everything. His bone structure is simply larger considerably larger. Tito looks rail thin in comparison. Punching power and strength are not the same thing. You miss the point. Winky was able to fight that way because Tito couldn't muscle him around. While it may look like a boxing clinic it is the size that is making the difference. If they were the same size Tito would be running right through him. Oscar was about the size limit of what Tito could take as far as boxers go. How the fight went kind of proved that.
I was responding to Chiko_Tech's analysis it is not my own personal belief of how the fight would pan out but it was a good analysis and I respect his opinion. My point was that if it played out that way its Tito by decision not Floyd.
Just bc he couldn't outmuscle the dude doesn't mean that Winky massively bigger than him. hell even Joppy and campus was massive too. Tito lost against skill.
Winky was massively bigger than him. I will believe my own lying eyes over you. But you are still missing the point. A fighter like Tito counters boxers with a strength advantage. He makes it very difficult for boxers to box. However, as a fighter like Tito moves up in weight there comes a point that he loses that strength advantage and the larger boxer is free to box. In the end you get what looks like a boxing clinic but what really made the difference was the strength advantage. At a lower size the boxer gets crushed just like all the other boxers did. Tito's limit was basically Oscar, a very big welterweight. Past that point he wasn't built to deal with boxers. Tito dealt with many boxers 147 and lower including a few ATGs like Whitaker, although 35 at the time(hey who else is 35). However at 160 the size advantage of the boxers was too much. They were free to box the smaller man. And lets not sully this forum by bringing up Joppy and Campus in a thread where we are talking about guys like Oscar, Floyd, Whitaker, Wright, Hopkins etc. Its not even worthy of discussion. Of course he beat those two. He could have beat them blindfolded.
LOL. I see ur point but he ain't beating Floyd jr. at 140-154 period. Floyd has prove he can deal with bigger fighters plenty and perfectly content to settle with hit and run method.
