Is this back on is it?
Let's just get back to the question that the Leonard Mayweather is made at welterweight. For all we know Floyd might be fighting for another few years and could get could get beaten by someone younger at welter or even by someone above that weight badly. By the way, what is Floyds best fighting weight, he's a career....what?

calm down Tyson! if that were the case, Leonard should be under Duran who as we all know, moved up twice and beat Leonard

BTW wasnt Benitez ALSO a natural 140 pounder before he moved up?

Nah, come on, try and explain how there have never been cases of heavy favourites getting utterly and completely thrashed by younger, fresher underdogs that were given little to no chance beforehand.

I think I pinpointed the sources of your anger. it's due to the fact, that Leonard couldnt measure up to his contemporaries Hagler and Arguello even when aided by the press.

it also bothers u greatly that Hagler, was nominated by a panel of experts four straight times as #1 p4p to Leonard's one, and that his first nomination brought him 147/150 first place votes based upon a win over Sibson, a guy u repeatedly said couldnt fight

it also bothers u that Hagler never tasted canvas whereas Leonard ate canvas 7X :yep

aand was decked by a smaller, in fact, diminutive Kevin Howard. I think that's very damaging to a reputation of Leonard's status :rofl

Leonard has also been knocked OUT. Hagler has never been knocked out

Leonard also lost terribly in back to back outings. how do u people sleep a night? and do u ever have nightmares about it? i bet its awful

It bothered u that each time Hagler would win whether by easy slaughter or struggling as in the case of Roldan. We may never know what wouldve happened had the eye not closed

I think what really gets to u is how Hagler polished off Hearns in 3 what took Leonard 14, and that the cut only made the knockout that much more impressive

it was certainly much more impressive than watching a limited Leonard imitate a stalker trying to land haymakers. He looked inept

Just think, had Hagler lost on a cut it wouldve meant Hagler would be in the shadows of both Hearns N Leonard but instead gained an unprecedented third straight nomination as #1 p4p fighter in the sport with all 150 first place votes

did I mention Leonard only won the award once in his career (until Hagler rose up and took his place)

PS: please check if I have misspelled any words as my spellchecker is not functioning properly. It will help me avoid making them in the future and I know it will make your day as well

Alzheimer's already setting in, you old crustbag?

Are you seriously attempting to argue that Leonard-Norris is the only case where a heavy favourite got thoroughly smashed?

I dont see u providing any examples

probably b/c there wasnt any this lopsided. blame it on Ray's inability to cope with slick boxers being due to the fact he was reduced to a limited plodder when forced to pursue. Hence, the delayed comeback in the remedial tour of the late 80s

Why would anyone with any invested interest in this sport even require such examples? Are you so utterly dense that you're incapable of understanding what you're saying? :rofl

Both guys are quick enough to catch each other. Leonard has a more voluminous offense and a harder punch. On top of that he walked through shots from middleweights and punchers like Hagler, Hearns, and Duran.

Leonard would stop Mayweather, and it wouldn't be a close fight at all.

i might agree with u had Leonard destroyed Norris in a match he should have won with ease

but due to his inexperience with such a high quality boxer, lost in a terrible mismatch, the like we've not seen previous

I pointed this out before in 1988 due to the years of avoidance of the marvelous one, and then M. Nunn, a rangy but dangerous southpaw, along with Leonard's obvious limitations when faced by movers, namely Larry Bonds who frankly, couldnt do much of anything

Lets be honest with ourselves and come clean. If it took him 11 just for Larry the nobody Bonds, he'd ave little chance against Floyd (38)
whi has met every match and passed eery ne of them with flying colors

as was the case with Norris, Leonard simply isnt in the same class

In my numerous years on this Earth I have read some pisspotical statements ( mostly by politicians ) but NEVER, EVER have I read ANYTHING as fundementally FVCKING stupid as that.

Even Leonards most ******ed fanboys claim he NICKED the fight by throwing flurries of pitty pat punches at the end of each round to catch the judges eyes, having back pedalled for the first 2 and a half minutes. But you have come up with...............................................................................................................................................................

He WALKED THROUGH Hagler's shots. Imbecility taken to a completely higher level.

Surely the time has come for ESB to open a new section, subscription membership only, for Tyson freaks, Leonard fanboys, and fvcking *******s. That way they could wallow in each others ****, and leave the human beings alone.
