    Marquez has little choice. He's old, arguably peaked and has few fights left. What's he going to do walk out against Floyd with no chance at getting his Pac dream fight? He shouldn't demanded a Fight Night weight that forced Mayweather to remain at a certain weight. But more money is really the only other good alternative.

    Well I can't really back Mayweather up even if I tried. Marquez did his job like a professional and Mayweather didn't, that's an obvious sign he doesn't give a damn. If he couldn't make it they should have mentioned so LONG ago rather than one day before the fight, his trainer knows 100% months before if his guy can make the weight or not. One minute they said it's a welterweight fight then it's a catchweight and got everyone confused all the way to the weigh in and now MORE people are confused.

    This COULD be a sign that Mayweather is coming back to make some quick money, if you don't care enough to do what you're supposed to after 2 years off then he's not as excited in coming back as I thought.

    The fight should still be a good enough example of how he intends to return and if he still has what it takes.

    Marquez has some balls. First he takes this fight as his FIRST moving up and now he's still going on despite Mayweather not making the weight he's supposed to. I just hope that if he loses he doesn't lose brutally or in a bad way, the guy has guts and I'd like to see more of him in the future.

    Corrales, rest his soul, chose the latter in the rematch against Castillo. He decided to take it like a man. He is the kind of guy who may have also had the fans in mind. Remember what happened there?

    It would have been a bold move for Marquez to back out and millions would have been let down (not that millions haven't already been let down by the weigh in results) and Floyd knew this. The extra hell Floyd would have had to put himself through to make 144 would have made him too weak come fight night. Floyd decided literally to buy himself a couple of pounds for hundreds of thousands. Floyd actually got one hell of a bargain, and a secured victory. I'm rooting for Marquez nonetheless after this.

    My original thought when I first heard this was, oh well. Now after some time to reflect it is still, oh well. This fight was a mismatch from the get go. Floyd is too fast, too big and too good.
