I doubt we ever see him there again.
(Unless Pavlik beats him into it)

yep, been thinking the same thing for a while. if mayweather is going to get beat, its most likely by somebody who bigger and stronger then him but at the same type have good speed. a fighter who can walk him down and take his counter punching and outwork him. mosley and willaims are the first ones that come to mind. both have good speed, are stronger then mayweather and are diffcult to hurt. mayweather wouldnt want to fight either guy.

If Floyd fought in another era he'd have more losses but more respect. My opinion.

All but Clottey, who answered his challenge, but is apparently "a loser".

Y'now I know there's lots of Pac lovin' (and HATING) on this board at the moment but I disagree. Pac is the one fighter who has what it takes to give Mayweather Jr trouble.

    BLINDING SPEED and unpredictable angles.

And Floyd has a great defensive skills that will give Pac trouble.

Watch Floyd fight and look at the pace. Then watch a Pac fight and watch the pace.

Floyd has NEVER fought anyone who fights with the speed and pace of Pac.

The reason DLH lost to Pac was because of Pac's speed. When DLH threw in the towel his corner said 'there's no point continueing HE'S TOO FAST!'

So I see even a prime DLH having trouble with Pac, although with his extra weight he may be able to blast threw Pac's offence.

Mosley - Mayweather Jr would be a great fight but I actually think Mayweather would win that if he doesn't get KO'd. He has faster hands than Mosley and has more skills.

Yes. Weight drained Williams managed to win a few good fights at 147 even though he had no business there.

I think the way de la Hoya fought Mosley for the 1st half of their 2nd fight is an indication of how Mayweather would fight Mosley.

I need to see how Mayweather performs against Marquez first before making any predictions.

Williams, Pacquiao and Mosley all have great chances of winning.

Floyd would befuddle Sugar Shane. It'd be a great fight for 6 rounds, but Floyd is fresher and would take over in the later rounds en route to a easy UD decision.

Williams would give Floyd big problems. I'm not sure about that, but I'd have to believe that Floyd would hit and run en route to a close SP

I believe Pac can beat Floyd. I can see Pac overwhelming Floyd with his insane handspeed and power from the start and finish him off in the middle rounds. Hatton pressed Floyd early and caught him with a good punch in the second and only Floyd's good balance prevented him from going down. Imagine what would happen if it was Pac who hit Floyd with his straight left? I had thought that Pac will be the first to defeat Floyd but that may not happen because JMM whom I think as Pac's equal is also capable of beating him.
