What the F are you talking about man. When did I say that I do everything I was told. I just quoted you for saying that hitting a woman is ordinary. And according to you, If you have never wanted to hit a woman, then you haven't been in a relationship, so I said I was married and I have never ever wanted to hit a woman.

That bad boy act is just to sell fights.

Floyd signs more autographs and poses for more pictures with fans than anybody.

He's more generous to his sparring partners than anybody in the game....hands down.:deal

Carlos Baldomir earned more sparring Floyd than he did in 90% of his fights.

    JMM......made millions fighting Mayweather.

Yori Boy Campos........got paid 50,000 for his PPV fight against Oscar De La Hoya.:-:)-:)-(

    Floyd shares the wealth.

Boxing was doing great without that attention grabbing ***** and will doing even better without him if he gets put away hopefully. Mosley even though he beat Mora still looked like **** and that reflects the quality of opponents Mayweather is fighting and wants people to acknowledge. Too bad he didn't use those skills against the fighters that really mattered.

Floyd had the chance to be a DLH or a Ray Leonard! I mean....Floyd LIMITS his potential to make what he loves so much..."MONEY". Sure he makes a lot in BOXING.....but he doesn't reach his full potential in OTHER ventures outside of boxing.

His personality and charisma are there but it's so over the top and negative that he's seen as a liability to anyone looking at trying to work with him. For whatever reason...his arrogance has been a double edged sword...cutting both ways.

He definitly creates enough hype with his flamboyant style and he's absolutely one of the best at what he calls his profession so in a sense...It's working for him. but he's not on DLH's level and he'll never be.. not when he's "MONEY".

People had already made up their opinions on him before any of the recent comments or legal items came about..

No matter what he does he gonna get hated...he may bring it on himself though but regardless...

The media throws floyd in the fire when he do something...other fighters not so much ..but like i said, floyd bring it on himself

Because he knocked people out. Nothing more nothing less. If Larry Holmes acted like Tyson he'd been in jail for the rest of his life. If you think people are intrigued by Tyson you're a clown. They love the fact that he destroyed so many people. Same reason people loved Liston and Foreman over Muhammad Ali.
He'll be missed by his millions of fans and even if he would retire today he would still be the number 1 topic on ESB for a year just like he was in 2008. I know jackasses like you make up the myth people only buy his fights and he breaks records because people wanna see him lose, yet everytime there is a boxing event and someone has a camera seems like there are a helluva alot of Mayweather fans.

    He's a heavyweight jackass.

Floyd is loved by many and hated by the few. Everybody is always anticipating a Floyd fight. Like was said earlier when he was retired everybody everyday asked him when he was coming back.

:rofl Not even in grand rapids...on the street he grew up....where his maw-maw still lives...within his own family is that statement true.

His children's mother and potentially his son seem to hate him and the vast majority of the population don't seem to like him much... It's official...To be Floyd "MONEY" Mayweather Jr. at this particular stage would suck massively.:yep

Mayweather was twice as exciting as he is now, humble, and respectful before he fought Gatti. It got him NOWHERE. He learned "the formula" during the pre-fight hype leading up to Gatti... If you box you need a big mouth. That is just a fact of boxing.

FLoyd has NEVER been that popular, he's more controversial than he is popular.

I think his current persona is better for his career money wise.
