    It was the style clash

Liston was obviously the more powerful of the two. Pattersons style was to get within range, and then lunge in with big punches. Very similar to Tyson. The more powerful of the two men (given they can box) will be the victor in that situation.

Patterson will always have my respect for accepting the Liston fight. Everyone told him no, but he took it upon himself to give Liston the shot he deserved

Likewise. Floyd was a real man. Great video, btw. I think I forgot to mention that earlier.

Watching Floyd...I really do think at times he possessed the best combination of speed power and technique I have ever seen. He truly was a master at his craft.

    thanks Tua

Swarmer, he really is something else, no? Incredible knockouts thats man scored. And you cant make the argument that it was just the punches in bunches that made him successful because you can clearly see his opponents heads being mangles from the power of the punches.

and thanks itliangladiator. The song is, "Natural Blues" by Moby

Patterson at Lightheavy would have been one of the very best.

Only the super heavy hitters would have had a chance.

Patterson vs Charles would have been a shootout.
