This "Patterson has a glass jaw" talk is a tired cliche among casuals. Sure it wasn't along the levels of his modern counterpart in Tyson, or many other heavyweight champs, but if he truly had a glass jaw, he wouldn't get to where he did.

This comparison to Foster is even more non-sensical imo.

It may not be glass but it's not holding up against little Joe. One hook and the fight is done

It took Ingo a lot more than one right hand to put Floyd down for good.

As a champion, Frazier is better, sure. But do you really think a single Frazier hook is going to do that much more damage than Ingo's well placed sequence of right hands on Floyd?

Ingo was limited. Ingo relied on being sneaky. But Ingo hit very hard, and you didn't always see it coming. He hit Floyd a lot to take him out.

I'd say suspect chin with an amazing heart, it's like one of my favourite fighters JMM. His chin is kind of suspect, but he has amazing heart, so he could overcome all them knockdowns.

The only one to knock Patterson out clean early was Liston who hits like a truck and has a vicious jab and a vicious uppercut which were perfect for a peak a boo fighter like Patterson.

Frazier doesn't hit as hard as Liston and has neither of those tools. This would be a phone booth war and although I favor Frazier to win, something interesting could happen with 6 attempts. I think Patterson could even win 1 match bare minimum with the right game plan.

Agreed. A relatively short inside fighter with a peak a boo stance who fought on the front foot and liked to throw uppercuts would not last long with a glass jaw.
