you are defending floyd all day gunner. you probably would get a cookie from him now. go out and see the sun. it would make you less delusional than the average ***** who have already said that 50/50 is the msot fair opton for this fight.

agreed. with this 50-50 bull**** it gives the pac fans argumentative grounds that they wouldn't have if Floyd just let Arum continue to look like a fool.

didn't pac already offered 50/50? unless you meant he should have offered the same thing again.

I know this is negotiations but the offer was bad, even if pac was on record saying he would take less but not really this less lmao:lol:

Because the offer Mayweather was offering was the type deal he uses for his business model of him paying for all the expenses like they explained for the Ortiz fight. Mayweather would give Pac 40mil, pay the expenses of making the fight, and collect the remaining money. So the question is if Mayweather paid all the expenses and offered Pac 40mil guaranteed and 50% of the revenue how much money will be left for Mayweather to pocket? That depends on how much expenses are spent compared to how much rev was earned. And since nobody has any idea of how much expenses will be spent nobody can say if its a fair offer or not.

The best solution is to do a co promotion at with 50/50 split but the problem is Arum refuses to do a co promotion on May 5th so even If Pac agrees to a 50/50 split co promotion Arum will push for June 9th or Nov under the new stadium.

no one knows, true. But everyone with a right mind can speculate, this is the fight of the century. What if it does 2 mil or more buys? Unfair right?

This fight isn't going to happen if fans of each keep defending them, and it's the first time I'm using the labels *******s and *****s. Because BOTH fighters are equally at fault from where I'm sitting.

I'm the only guy in the workplace who loves boxing enough to watch fights regularly but I know for sure that anyone remotely interested in sport would LOVE to see the best fighting the best.Nobody wants to watch the qualfying games in any sport, they wait until the best square off. In all sport the best fight the best. And these guys are ****ing Prizefighters, and the prize doesn't get any bigger for both of them! No excuse is good enough.

Hugely disappointed with all this. IMO The sooner BOTH these guys retire the better for the sport. And the sooner the fans of each realise how the sport is hurting as a result instead of blindly defending them the sooner the pressure is put on for this fight.

Arum ducking does not exclude the possibilty of Floyd ducking as well.

Flomes are even more delusional than Klittards.

Manny is tied to Arum. That cannot be changed. Floyd can't cut Arum out of the equation, just like Arum couldn't cut GBP out of the equation. You may as well not even enter into negotiations if you're gonna' try and do that.

And the problem with that guaranteed $40 mill (or however much it is), is that it is not subject to improvement should the whole event do better than expected. It's a fixed amount. It won't change. Floyd's stack of bread will get higher at a quicker rate the better the fight does, where as Manny's stack won't increase as much.

So, the most appropriate thing to do after handing out the money to distributors, is split the remaining money between the two parties 50-50 down the middle. What Floyd does with his 50% and how he shares it with GBP is his business, and what Pac does with his 50% and how he shares it with Arum, is his. Sure, it'll mean Floyd's business model is interrupted, but that's the price he has to pay when he's not the boss of an event. He's sharing the stage with Arum here. That's the unfortunate truth.

This happens all the time, man. It's a low-ball offer knowing full well the other party will refuse it, and try to make the other side look like they're the ones holding it up. All fighters camps pull this all the time. I honestly don't think either side wants the fight, but just because you make an offer doesn't mean you're really serious about the fight.

I was hoping this event would enlighten the die-hards on both sides of the table so we wouldn't have all the ridiculous back and forth that takes up every thread. THEY ARE BOTH AT FAULT for this fight not happening. Plain and simple.
