Well, going by the rule of thumb for some posters on ESB, he was in Fight Night Round 3 which makes him an elite fighter

He should have been removed after the Collazo bout and nothing he did after it would have justified a top spot. Floyd didn't ruin Hatton, this was the real Hatton, when he's not rough housing and fighting illegally, he's very average.

The ref even got him out of trouble here.

If anything that fight showed how overrated Mayweathers win over Hatton is. Hatton has got good chin, stamina, workrate but he doesnt have the skills nor the power.

 

why did he look bad against maussa? he won every round against an awkward fighter, ko'd him in 8 rounds and took his belt. and maussa ko'd harris who was the best win on your favourite fighters resume (witter).

 

It's possible to win every round and not look good doing so, which was the case in that fight. It was an ugly clinch and foul filled fight with not much clean punching. Even the British commentators said Hatton looked bad up until the knockout.

 

The guy that is at #10 deserves it big time, should be higher in fact. Save your bull**** 'beat a top 10 etc.', these lists are always partial and rarely get it spot on.

Rafa and Izzy have been in there since their first fight, but neither of them were in there cemented prior to it. Did they beat a top 10?:yep

 

Had you ever heard of a check hook prior to Hatton-Mayweather? That fight was good, solid win after a big loss. Anyone who can't see that is just hating.

Kostya Tszyu is the one who ruined Hatton, Kostya was breaking Hatton to the body and because of it Hatton low blow him, because he new Tszyu was about to knock him out. Kostya Tszyu would beat Floyd Mayweather in the same fashion he beat his Uncle Roger and there is a big chance he will knock him out too.
