I think for the most part they are right a lot of the time, it is just that when they are wrong, they are extremely wrong.
Yeah, he won't fight a WW yet he fought a Light Middleweight and former Middleweight in DLH as his very first fight at that weight. Floyd isn't the one calling out smaller guys, it's the man you support who failed and failed miserably against Williams and when he moved up against gatekeeper Daniel Santos. If it was Floyd doing the same you would be all over him with insults but if Margarito does it then it's all good and fine.
Won't completely call this off, I usually take Bert Sugar's word serious when it comes to such stuff and his comment about it when he claimed that Floyd is just taking a break in the name of retirement might be very true. There's just too much money to make for Floyd to completely turn his back on this and I honestly believe that a possible fight with Margarito will make A LOT at this point and I'll be hoping Floyd takes it before Williams does. Margarito's team not talking a lot about his next match must be a sign they know something as well, not saying this is guaranteed or my prediction is 100% but there is a small chance something MIGHT come up.
I think he's coming back regardless of this story is true. If he is staying in shape by doing boxing drills, rather than other types such as lifting weights, b-ball, jogging, etc...that just furthers my belief that he'll come back. I remember reading an article about the Ruelas brothers and how one of them loves to stay in shape, but won't enter a boxing gym to workout. If he starts doing the boxing workouts, then he'll be unable to resist the urge to box again. Mayweather's been boxing since he was a toddler. Him being in the boxing gym is like Pookie in New Jack City working in a crack factory. Only, boxing hasn't ruined Floyd's life, it's made him rich and famous.
Mayweather's a fitness fanatic who has been training all his life, it would be hard for him to stop now.
