I think he would be terrible. That would be he same as Shaquille Oneal being a basketball commentator. They are too much into their own egos to be any good at commentating.
Floyd is terrible at communicating, his communication issues cause 90 percent of his problems. I swear he actually thinks he's being clever/intelligent with his nonsense and instead comes off childish and defensive.
