Whoever actually believed he was going to stay retired was being naive.

I don't know why fighters do that ****. Say they are retiring, just to come back some months later... especially this guy. How many times has he retired now? It's hard to take him seriously with anything he says.

He is an idiot. A talented idiot, though. And he does all this **** for attention.

no way in hell will he take a fight with williams... where would be floyd's advantage besides skills? Paul got floyd by size, height, reach, age, hunger... and etc.

i rather floyd fight cotto, mosely, pac. Someone near his size so it would not be an awful fight of pot shot/lateral movements for 12 rounds.

Well, it makes it more spectacular when he does come back, because of the speculation. And it allows the money pot to build. In the meantime, he doesn't have to box.

I don't know if him fighting a non-WW would be very good. I'd prefer Pac-JMM-Hatton at LWW, and PBF-Cotto-Mosley going on at WW.

Floyd already said in an interview on Yahoo that he's NOT coming back and never even had it in plan. Think his father is just trying to encourage his son to come back by saying these things to get a rematch with Hatton or even a fight with Pacquiao if he beats Hatton.
