I would love to see two of my favorite fighters of this era fight, but Mayweather is looking for another big pay day. The fighter that brings that at this moment is Pac. Plus he's p4p number 1 and brings bigger paper view numbers. A win against Pac looks better on his resume than Mosley at this point of his career, that's what Mayweather I believe is looking at. Plus it's a pride thing. Mayweather chased after Mosley for the longest when Mosley was the man @ 135, and Mosley turned Mayweather down everytime. I believe that's a big reason he turns him down. It's like saying u didn't give me a shot when u were on top, know I'm returning the favor. I still want to see them fight though!
Well if Mosley didn't duck, Floyd, why they bringing it up? Ya'll kill me. Floyd is grown man. He doesn't need his Mommy anymore to protect him. He needs to make grown man decisions. Ya'll act like we're talking about a 12 year old boy. The man is 31 YEARS OLD!! That's a MAN. You ever heard of a 30 year old boy? Grown men don't turn down 10 million dollars. That's all there is to it.
****, the way I look at is, I make 10 million with Mosley and 20 million with Pac. That's basic mathematics. I don't see the problem. I mean ****, is one fight gonna ruin Floyd? He's the best right? What's Mosley got on him? Mosley ain't Sugar Ray Robinson. Hell, he ain't even Sugar Ray Leonard. Floyd says he's better than both. For him, this fight should be like winning some free cash.
1. What he does with his money is up to him. 2. Is this rhetorical, or what does it have to do with anything? Is Robinson a coward for not taking fights after he retired? 3. There are other ways to make money than taking punches, and I'm not going to speculate on Floyd's wants and desires, since I don't know... and neither do you. 4. Do you know the full details about these things? Are you an insider, or do you have no ****ing clue, as I suspect?
If Warren Buffett retired, then Berkshire Hathaway said, "Hey, we want you to come run the company more, we'll give you $10 million a year, just come do it," would you say he wasn't a grown man?
He brought it up to clear up any accusations of Floyd ducking Shane now. He's not ducking him, he's retired. The fact that Floyd already TRIED to get Shane in the ring, should deter folks from accusing him of ducking him :good
Axe Man, you are the typical ***** who sits home and criticize people who do what your ***** ass wish you could do. No one is making excuses for him. Floyd is retired. He doesn't owe any of you stupid ****s anymore fights. Everyone with a brain knows that Floyd offered Shane and it was turned down. Not because Shane was scared, but for other reasons. It happens. So what? **** off, hater.
I know he's retired, but 10 million dollars is 10 million dollars. They're about to turn my water off at my house, so I guess I just don't understand the logic of not taking 10 million dollars. It just doesn't make sense to me. I've never heard more excuses made for a person in my entire life.
Way to reach. Comparing Floyd to the richest man in the world who could die at any minute and has 6000 10 million dollars. I shouldn't have even commented on this, but if this is the extent that you gotta go to in order to prove me wrong, I already know where what I say stands. And it's TALL.
Oh ****. It's a rich boy that never had to work in his life. Oh damn, I should rolled out the red carpet for your ass. You don't know about money because you live with your parents. Try living with them cutting you off, and you might share my mentality about 10 million dollars. You ain't a grown man, so I wouldn't expect you to know. Grown men don't turn down 10 million dollars. That's all there is to it.
So, because yo dumb ass can't pay bills, Floyd has to come out of retirement and take any and every offer. It's not as easy as just walking into the ring and showboating. With all the **** Floyd talks, he trains hard. You have to love the sport to do what he does. Anything less, and he is risking getting himself hurt.
