It lists Brad Cone as a source, but where's the actual article by Brad Cone. It's obviously some ****** posting a fake article. You're not going to find any HBO tax filings with that much detail and you're not going to find HBO lying about how many PPV buys a fight of theirs did. It's one thing to play fast and loose with words to give the impression of a number of buys, but HBO actually released numbers regarding home cable buys, home satellite buys, and total revenue.
So what your saying is that the bars and pubs that had the fight not only took count and charge those to come in and watch the fight, but they reported those numbers back to HBO?? You do understand that those bars cant charge people to come in and watch the fights dont you??? Its against the law. *******s are truely clueless:huh
bull****, it generated only 400k buys. use some common sense, if the fight did that bad don't you think arum would of been all over it by now?
oh my god some of you got to be gullible as **** to believe this ****. i suppose arum doesn't have contacts about PPV sales now. we all know something, arum doesn't know about. funny as **** with how dumb some people really are.
The Sports Business Journal reported that total PPV revenue for Mayweather vs JMM was 52 million and Pacquiao vs Cotto was 70 million. Mayweather vs JMM was $49.95 and Pac vs Cotto was $54.95 Simple math - 1,041,041 for May/Marq & 1,273,885 for Pac/Cotto Brad Cone is supposedly a Pacquiao camp insinder so his information shouldn't be taken seriously for anything related to Mayweather. Plus, he was wrong in his last "scoop" that Pacquiao was going to agree to the random blood testing for his fans and the 3/13 bout with Mayweather would be on.
