Thinking about it, this fight was kinda similar to Jones/Tarver I.

Yeah sure dawg. great observation. You might want to read the statement below written by a boxing expert Steve springer of the LA Times.

"According to PunchStat figures compiled by CompuBox, De La Hoya threw more punches, 587 to Mayweather’s 481, but was less efficient, connecting on 122 to Mayweather’s 207. They threw NEARLY THE SAME NUMBEROF JABS, but Mayweather landed 69 to De La Hoya’s 40. And while De La Hoya threw 100 more power punches, Mayweather landed 56 more.

Yeah beware you certainly know your stuff. You expose your inferior boxing knowledge in almost every one of your posts. Oscars superior jab.
Ding dong, schools out!! Damn you're easy!

    Your response .........
"The compubox numbers were ****, and so is Steve Springer. what makes him a "boxing expert" What that he can quote inaccurate punch stats I said the times where Oscar pressed in behind his jab, Floyd had no answer. I have no boxing knowledge, your fiance just claimed that "busy work" and punches that don't land clean don't score points.......so he is kinda saying if me and you fight a round, and I throw 100 punches off your gloves and arms, and you don't throw anything --- the round is a draw. Does that sound right ol' wise one?"

My God I thought even you could do better than that. Putting down Steve Springers vast boxing knowledge?? The punch stats inaccurate???
They are wrong but you are right?   Very weak Beware. You should stop now. You are just getting yourself in deeper and deeper. You can't win. Your kind never does.

Floyd and Oscar would always give each other problems. Floyd has the edge in the lower weight classes, Oscar in the higher weight classes. Oscar is the bigger guy.

Floyd would always have problems with Oscar's jab, own skill set, size, and Oscar would have problems (as anyone would) with Floyd's speed, skills, defense, intelligence, etc...

Why can't you quote like a normal poster :patsch

Anyway, I'm not alone. Floyd was getting credited with alot of lands that never really happened. This unconditional hate and your failure to be impartial at all when it comes to Delahoya is getting annoying. And you quoted Steve Springer reading off compubox stats..thats it :rofl Who gives a **** who reads the compubox numbers, I thought when I saw "boxing expert" there would at least be an analysis or opinion, not just mere stats  Weak man, very weak.

Compubox tends to overestimate punches landed.

Mayweather didn't land 220 punches on Oscar and Oscar didn't land 120 on Floyd. Oscar didn't land 260 punches on Tito and Tito didn't land 160 on Oscar.

Gatti didn't land 41 punches on Mayweather. Maybe 4.

Failure to be impartial when it comes to Oscar?? Whatever gave you that idea? I like Oscar. I especially enjoyed the last round of the Hopkins fight.
Put that round next to the last couple of rounds in his fight with Trinidad along with his intense investigation into the corruption that goes on in boxing and you dare say I fail to be impartial when it comes to Oscar? I'm always fair with Oscar, I just don't bend over backwards for him like you do. (Bend over backwards    ) You know what I mean :smoke
