With the amount of money involved, and the betting and gambling, it would be a huge case and REALLY look bad for both fighters and boxing. Kiss the HOF goodbye. Hello possible jail time.

Yeah, Oscar doesn't ask for rematches toward fighters he beat. No one does. That's what has always been comical about this rematch. Floyd was the one asking for it. But no, DLH would go on to less frustrating fighters for sure.

That's 1 time, and he beat Chavez pretty easily the first time. Look at how many times he's refused to rematch guys that he got a close decision against. He lost to Mosley and rematched him, he lost to Mayweather and is rematching him, he lost to Tito and tried to rematch him. The only guy he lost to that he didn't try to fight again was Hopkins. Oscar has already lost to Floyd, and if he were to beat Floyd it would be a close fight. No way in hell will he grant Mayweather a rematch in the event that Oscar wins.

Technically, Oscar is the one who approached Mayweather in regards to this fight. Anyway, Lewis lobbied for a rematch against Tyson, Wright lobbied for a rematch against Mosley, and going into the Tito fight Winky remarked that he was afraid that he would beat Tito so bad that Tito wouldn't fight him again.

I see DLH doing even worse. He took some pretty clean shots and looks to be getting hit a lot more often nowadays. Floyd in another boring fight.

Being a 5 time world champion in 3 weight classes, with over 30 title bouts isn't what I'd call a padded record. Especially when that record includes guys like Camacho, Rosario, Taylor, Ramirez, Laporte, Haugen, Mayweather, and Randall.

You want to see a padded record? Look no further than somebody like Samson Dutch Boy Gym or to a lesser extent, guys like Khaosai Galaxy and Pongsaklek Wonjongkam.

Everything's possible in boxing but if you approach this with common sense, it's almost inconceivable that PBF would do something that stupid!

    1) The criticism Mayweather is facing right now would pale in comparison should he lose to DLH. IMO that would really affect his place amongst the ATG of the sport, and Floyd is aware of that!
"Fraud Mayweather" would take on a whole new meaning.

    2) This could backfire on Floyd; DLH could easily move on to fight Cotto or simply decide to call it a day and end his career with a victory over floyd closing his resume!
This would have a huge positive effect on HIS overall ATG standing

    3) The ramifications of the legal and moral implications of such an act would KO boxing (PBF and DLH in particular) for quite some time.

Having said that, It will not be surprising to see hundreds of similiar hater-threads should DLH pull off the unexpected victory:deal
