Hopefully we'll get to see the fight and you'll be proved wrong. Floyd doesn't do well against offensive fighters who can move and find their mark. Look at all the fighters who gave Floyd trouble through his career and Manny possesses what each had.

Roach has said that if Floyd wants to block with his shoulders and arms, Manny will pulverize his arms till they're purple, till he can't lift them any more.. I can't wait to see Floyd do his shoulder blocks then go wtf, he's hurting ma' arms! Ouch. Sooner then later, Floyd's glass body will crumble.

exactly, pac also does it better. Most people are just looking at the kind of styles that troubles Pac..but are forgetting/avoiding the type of styles which doesn't suit Floyd.

guys, i hope your right..i love pacman, and he seems to be a genuinely nice guy too....im just worried that his style may be perfect for floyd...and yup, floyd got banged up by dlh, but lets remember, that was a totaly different dlh than manny fought...i dont even think comparing their respective oponents can help us pick...the dlh and marquez floyd fought were totally different guys than the dlh and marques manny fought....

sure, manny adjusted to cotto pdq...but then, and i know this is a poor argument, floyd adjusted equally as quickly to hattons (a poor, no, destitute, mans pacquaio haha)..manic buzsaw style....

its an intriguing fight and i hope pacman does it....just think floyd might have too much skill, too much savvy and be able to fight to disciplined a fight

in the fight i watched, id say that was a demolishin....not a brutal, one sided beatdown for sure, but an almost languid, elegant demolishin of a live, if smaller, opponent...i think the scorecards bear this out..it was almost like cat and mouse for large periods....

He probably will. But he needs to fight pac to know. Roach & Arum has said 50/50 which i think is a generosity from pac's team.

course i know fighters get hit..im no expert like a lot of you fellas seem to be, but iv been watching boxing for thirty years and im pretty sure i know how it works haha..ok, maybe i phrased that wrongly..i was surprised how cleanly pacquaio was hit on several occasions and am now concerned that mayweather would have the tools and skills to repeat this....pacqauio is one of my favourite fighters, and yes, he does adapt to styles, but i just think mayweather has the ability to do a smash and grab here and possibly consistently hurt pacquaio throughout the fight with his speed and accuracy...

To TS: Stop basing your assumptions on pac fighting the same way as if he's facing Cotto again. Common sense man.

    Ok, ugh where to begin...

Manny is not losing any sleep to due to fear of Mayweather's awesome power, especially considering how he "This is SPARTA" walked thru Cotto's power shots.

    Yep, agreed.

Floyd only came back out of retirement because he saw another small guy he could cherry pick his way to a lot of cash and the P4P #1 ranking again. It's not a coincidence that the two guys (JMM, Pac) he will likely fight in his time back are both much smaller than he is, naturally.

If Floyd were going to come back to have to face, say, Margarito or a Paul Williams he never comes back. But because Pac Man is such a phenomenon, many people can't or choose not to see reality for what it is. Floyd knows that, and his nuthuggers are pushing the idea that Pac is a real welterweight, etc so that when Floyd likely beats Pac it doesn't take away from entire "small guy cherry pick" that was the intention all along.

I think Floyd wins the fight and he probably will win it fairly easily. I take nothing away from Pacquiao but the reach and size issues, I think, will be the deciding factors in this match-up. You combine those advantages with PBF's natural ability and boxing skill and I think it will be too much for Pac to overcome.

I would say Judah is the only one that gave him serious issues. Pacman isnt faster then Zab but he hits harder then zab and has better lungs. If pac shows up anything like zab and we got ourselves a tough fight for mayweather
Corley rocked him but he was so far ahead on the cards it didnt matter floyd came back and still won that round. He shut him out.
'Castillo gave him a hard time but that was due to an injury
