He fought an old gatti. He would beat gatti in his prime not doubting it. But it wouldnt look close to that. I think gatti would of gave FMJ alot of problems. Lets not also forget a huge punch that should of been illegal through gatti off. But dont compare Cotto to gatti. I think cotto will do what hatton did only alot better. Good pressure with a nice jab and mayweather wont fight as many openings. Cotto is more natural for the weight class. I think cotto will beat him.

This is why the war is the way it is now. No way Floyd would do a Gatti to Cotto. That is impossible. I mean that literally. There has to be order brought to this madness.

there was not **** illegal about the punch. The ref broke them up and gatti decided to drop his guard and complain. That was legal. Floyd would of massacred Gatti worse in his prime b/c Gatti would of actually tried to hit Floyd and would of created more openings to get destroyed.

He's forgotten more than anyone here knows about the sport.

When you help bankroll a fighter like Joe Frazier's career then come back and comment about Larry.

There's a reason PBF ducked Marg for 8 mil when he made like 3.5 versus
    Baldomir...

If PBF defeats Williams, Cotto and MArg/Cintron winner he would certainly be THE MAN without a doubt.

I think Floyd is a great fighter. If a great fighter gights a good fighter he
should generally look good unless he makes some mistakes. He should be pitted with another great fighter to see where he truley stands, take a risk

BTW, I think Floyd will move and land sub-par shots early and taste a few
solid body shots in return. Lil Floyd would be winning on points up to about rd 9 when those Cotto body shots slow him down and his legs decieve him.
Cotto would punish him and force a late stoppage.

PBF is a great great fighter, technically sound and almost flawless, he's
smart and even can be dangerous because of his skill and wits BUT he's
not a beast like Mosley, even at Shane's present age
