And Pac beat a catch weight drained De la hoyle, a damaged catch weight Cotto and a overated Hatton, what's your point.

Oscar - Shot and weight drained, previously beaten at a better weight by Floyd.

Hatton - beaten, never looked as good since, again by Floyd

Cotto - had war with Mosley, got beaten up by Margarito, was in a war with Clottey, then fought Pacquaio at catchweight.

Clottey - didn't throw punches, made Shane Mosley look active.

PBF fought a better ODLH and a better Hatton. ODLH looked close to death going into that fight with Pac.

    Are you serious?

    Marquez is old and fat.

Mosley has no endurance. He is 38!! Marciano gets **** for beating a 37 year old Louis. 38! 38!

I can understand if you like Floyd but please don't spin things in such a bad way.

The General Public have probably never seen a Nonito Donaire fight...what's your point? This isn't a popularity contest BigReg, well it is for the Floyd fans, but for the rest of us, this all comes down to who has fought the best opponents and kept on winning. Pacquiao is in a league of his own in that regard.

Not when you label yourself as the best ever, no I agree with you. Quite sad really, I know Americans start to agree with stuff if it gets repeated enough but this is just silly.

Lets put it in easy ****ing simple terms as to why Floyd is P4P #1

P4P is about the "best" fighter at the present time, taking into account skill. If Floyd and Pacquaio do get in the ring together, you know Floyd will be a 2 to 1 favorite over Pacquaio - how in the **** is anyone going to say he's not P4P #1 ahead of Pacquaio when both fighters fight in the same weight class?

You have to take these discussion with Floyd Mayweather fans and Manny Pacquiao enthusiasts with a pinch of salt because it's all agenda driven. All of it.

Had Pacquiao beat Mosley as emphatically as Floyd Mayweather did the other day, the first thing out of their mouths would have been, "...38 dude...old man...not fought in a year...don't impress me much". But because it was Floyd, he's all of a sudden been vamped up to P4P number 1 and supposedly...according to the Floyd fans...has an equal or better resume to the Filipino.

Give...me...a...break. Agenda driven nonsense. Make the fight, we'll see what happens, not one line of anything these guys are saying is the least bit compelling. I mean seriously, a dude who has Mayweather with dollar bills on his gloves is trying to tell us all why Floyd wins? ...Yawn!

Over rated Hatton? Do you mean the same Hatton that gave PBF all he could handle while at the same time fighting the ref?

If PBF fought Hatton in Manchester, Hatton would have won.

If Pac fought Hatton in Manchester, Hatton would still lose in brutal fashion.

Weight drained? Oscar is a pro. One of the best. I doubt he would ever go into a fight unprepared. He fought Mayweather to a split dec. Pac destroyed Oscar.

Cotto damaged? Maybe after Pac was done with him. Cotto said that Pac was the best he ever fought.

It's a simple point. People like you are acting like people don't know what they're talking about when they rank Mayweather number 1. Mayweather was no.1 when he retired. He's had two dominant wins over two good fighters since returning. It looked like he really hadn't lost anything in those two fights. So that means he's still the no.1 guy unless someone became better than him while he was retired.

Now how can you really say Pac is better than Mayweather when they fight in the same division and when most experts would pick Mayweather in that fight? Pacquiao beat two guys that Mayweather already beat and another fighter who recently got stomped. So how is Pac beating Hoya, Hatton, and Cotto so much better than Mayweather beating Hoya, Hatton , and Mosely? So Pac really isn't beating better fighters and most experts don't even believe he can beat Mayweather. If you want to put Pac at no.1, that's fine. But how the hell can you sit there and say Mayweather doesn't have a legit claim to the no.1 spot?

Pay him no mind...he's said some outrageous things regarding the Klitschko brothers in the past. Either he's an idiot or he likes the attention.

Boxrec is a Computer generated matrix to determine its p4p . . . obviously, I do not put much stock in it. To me p4p means the best fighter on the planet (resume only determines your skill set and is not as heavily weighted and I think that is how most should look at it). I am not sure who sure who should be number 1 right now and would not disagree with anyone who puts Pac or PBF in at 1 and the other at 2. The worst p4p lists rank any current Heavyweights on them.
