A fighter that was struggling to make 130 had to weigh in twice to make it and had a domestic violence charge looming over his head its no wonder he faded late...

Log off fool. Chico was a top 10 P4P vicious undefeated KO puncher that no one wanted to fight. PBF put on the best exhibition of boxing of this era in that fight.:deal The weight and prison time had nothing to do with it. No one was willing to give PBF any excuses when he fought Cotto when he knew he was going to jail. Not to mention Chico fought at 130 many fights after that and even won a belt there so save the excuses. The Chico win was a very good one.

"Floyds best win was V Corrales"

That was only true beyond debate for like fifteen months.

It was top five absolutely, not a lock for best.

    He wasn't just top 10, in 2001, he was #4 p4p. :deal

33-0 undefeated, many thought he would beat the holy **** out of Floyd

Floyd completely annihilated him. Chico didn't hit him more than 10 times in any round. It was destruction

    Knocked down 5 times.

RIP Corrales but Floyd was a completely different class. Floyd was THAT GOOD @ 130

Doesn't matter what matters is he went on to have some great wins after the clinic JLC Casa and Frietas. But I would say Manfredy and Gainer.

Fact is is that Chico beat nobody when he faced Floyd, not too mention that he had weight problems..

Floyd performed BEAUTIFULLY that night, magnificent performance. But Chico is a B-Level fighter.

he was not a B level fighter when they fought. He was Grade A! 33-0 31 KO's and fought some good fighters.

i don't think floyd has ever beaten anyone of importance in their prime or at their best weight. he should have fought pac prime for prime. he will go down in history for never fighting the best when they were at their best.

Doesn't matter Chico going on to have good wins after a clinic says a lot about him as a fighter. Manfredy isn't a bad fighter at all neither was Gainer. Chico was rising up the ranks with a lot of steam. People love punchers and he was P4P ranked.
Lastly weight problems are irrelevant. You do realize that he fought at 130 for years after he lost to PBF don't you? You do realize he did win a belt at 130 after he lost to PBF don't you? Weight problems are just an excuse by PBF haters to try and discredit the win. You know damn well PBF beats Chico at any weight it was a clinic.
