He is gauging how ****ty of an opponent his moronic fanbase will accept and pay for. So far they love it.

You could argue that since he beat Pac convincingly (and he did) that it doesn't matter who he fights. If fans are expected to pay for it, then a Berto or Mayfield is a joke and a slap in the face. Neither of them have ever done anything.

You have to give him full credit for the Pac win, even if Pac was injured because it's not like the bs Cotto fight where Martinez was done before the fight was even signed. When the fight was signed Pac was healthy. If you (as a Pac fan) can't give Floyd credit for that, then I sure as hell hope you're just as honest about the skeleton of ODH that Pac destroyed.

Even the Canelo win is a great win (catchweight and all)...but Berto? Mayfield? Fight someone real or GTFOH with that bullsh*t

Oh no, I ****ed off the Pac huggers and the Floydies and the Cotto huggers :|:|:|

He can do what he wants now. If he puts on a good undercard, I'm watching. I won't pretend like it's a good win, but it's just a farewell fight. Other champions have taken them

At least you're trying to be objective about this. The most accurate thing you said was - dominating performance by Floyd against Pac. :nod.

I personally wouldn't want to see no damn Mayfield but Berto's alright. He ain't half bad.

There should be a rematch with Pac in neutral territory, with neutral judges, referee, boxing commission, etc. Void can't lose in Vegas.....................Pac was refused to take a pain shot while the boxing commission allowed Void to take the pain med..................

Nope. Unacceptable. Mayweather still has amazing skills and I'm not going to pay for a light sparring session as his final hoorah at Marciano's record. No thank you. Honestly, kinda feels like a slap to the face. He can't label himself TBE and do this.

He's putting Berto and Mayfield out there so that when he eventually announces Khan it will be a step up from who everyone thought he may fight. It's gonna be Khan. The strategy worked last time with Alexander/Guerrero (Everyone said, rightly, that DA-Floyd would be boring as ****)

Threads like this are EXACTLY what Floyd wanted when he said these 2 names. You are on Mayweather's leash, OP.

yup. it's floyd's way of gauging the level of dumbness of his fanatics so he will know if he can get an undefeated record above 50 with whomever he chooses. brilliant idea and so solid!

Always amazes me that people continue to pay top dollar to see Floyd fight when it is about as exciting as watching grass grow time after time, but to each his own. I guess Berto wouldn't be that bad of a match although Floyd would pitty-pat and hug him to death, but you know, I follow boxing pretty closely and I have never heard of Karim Mayfield so I don't know what to say about that one.

I couldn't agree more he has nothing left to prove. IMO he should have retired after his fight with #48 but I can understand finishing out his contract and not passing up on one last payday.
