Honestly the majority of the boxing fans and the boxing community had it very close, but it was split as to who MOST felt was the actual winner. But at the end of the day Manny won! That's what it is.... Manny did take the rounds and that's why he won but it was a close fight. And I'm familiar with the stats.

He's actually lost a little speed since moving upto 147lbs...and he has yet to knock anyone out at 147lbs. He has TKO victories over Cotto and De la Hoya. His last knockout was over Hatton at 140lbs.

I like what Don King just said.

" Don King on Pacquiao vs.Mayweather: "Pacquiao has two chances: slim and none, and slim left town"

Guess who slim is. even Don king is shitting on Floyd. Ahahahaahaahhaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was a reference to the KO power vs Floyd and his pull counter and what he did to hatton. Was not talking about 147 was referring to the effectiveness of the punches compared to each other. Manny from 135-147 best of all time, unbeatable.

Floyd's not really use to speed either. They fastest guy he faced has been Zab. Shane at 38 was really no where near Floyd's speed. Zab is the fastest guy Floyd has faced and that is faster than anyone PAC has yet to face, but fact is Floyd ain't use to fast fighters either.

You mean he lost power not speed. Mosley hurt floyd 20x worse than Manny was hurt in every fight over 135. Floyd's best against JMM and Mosley would be Manny's worst since moving up in the last 5.

Manny can fight on the inside homie....he's proved that with a lot of his most recent fights. It's just hard for him to show case his "in-fighting" long enough to get perspective b/c most of the time his opponents are in survival mode.

No you clearly said Pacquiao KO's people with his "counter" right. He hasnt KO'd anyone for that matter at 147.

Pac the best of all-time?

Watch some Hearns and sugar ray fights please. If Pacquiao took the punches from Hearns and Sugar Ray, he's ****ed. And considered Cotto who is 5'6 with a 67 inch reach, basically the same size as Pacquiao was able to land on him and break his eardrum, Ray and Hearns would kill him.

Watch the fight against Clottey, he cant penetrate Clotteys defense, and his face looks like **** after the fight and he looks exhausted.

Now imagine someone who the defense of Clottey but uses his legs, is actually active and has almost cat like reaction times. Thats what Pacquiao gets in Mayweather.

Okay, cool. What does you being mislead about emmanuel being the GOAT at 147 have to do with the fact that Marquez was the last great, right hand dominant technician with countering skills that emmanuel fought?

I already showed you an example of Floyd moving after taking a potshot. Floyd doesn't have to move much to make you miss.

That's an example of excellent judgment of distance.

Floyd already had those two timed in those pull counter examples. You throw your first punch, but he counters that one. Notice how Marquez and Mosley tried to follow up with the rest of the combo but missed in this picture.

No he has lost a little speed! Mosley hits hard...Mosley arguably hits harder than anyone Pacquiao has been in with.
Floyd's best in terms of power? So Mayweather doesn't hit harder than Diaz?, or a weight drained De la Hoya? Or even Hatton?

Floyd has moar experience dealing with speed than emmanuel. He conquered Judah who was FASTER THAN HIM. He made Mosley, who's no slug in the speed department, look like a slow man.

When has emmanuel ever been the one with slower hands in a fight or without a significant handspeed advantage?

Yea....Floyd does but he also showed a LOT of shaky moments with Zab that a fighter like PAC would be able to capitolize on far moar effectively than Judah. Shane isn't the speedster at 38 that he was at 35 or younger.

The fact that Floyd will be PAC's fastest opponent yet will definitly be something Manny will have trouble with....Just like Floyd has trouble with faster fighters and lefties! Which is why I'm calling for this fight to be very close and competitive, but I see Manny pulling it out.

Who said Manny fights inside? I'm stating the opposite.

Stay on the perimeters and only come in and throw combinations ONLY. They (Roach and Manny ) need to come up with a game plan. This is one of many options that they should utilize in their arsenal. Manny has a good trainer in Roach and Manny listens to what Roach has to offer.

You are right, that was a given. Marquez didn't belong in the same ring as Floyd, the Welterweight and Mosley, who was already way passed his prime, had ring rust and was closing in on 39.
