Every fighter should just fight for money...Who want to end up like the "great" fighters of yesteryear washed up and broke.

he respects fighters after he beats there ass, nothing personal just bussiness.smart way to put butts in the seat.

he loves his fans, good family man.teaches younger kids you can be what you want and have anything your heart desires as long as you work your ass off for it.

not going to mention the battered women and homelss people he helps out.

his resume is good, out of all the undefeated fighters he has the best resume by far.best boxer in the world, and it will be that way for a while.

    theres only one mayweather !:good

Not buying the original post. There are a number of things wrong with boxing. This isn't one of them.

i have to say this is one of the greatest posts i have ever read. the man is a straight up coward afraid to fight the best. he hasnt even fought a true welterweight in his prime and he has backed down like a coward when margarito stepped up to him offering the biggest payday of his life and now hes doing it again with cotto.

Name ONE undefeated active fighter with a better resume......OK..I WILL WAIT. But Floyd chose the path to least resistance but you cant name one god damned active fighter with a better resume that is not old and washed up with more then 3-4 losses.

He proved his pedigree did he? What, that he's got no defence at all?

Was in very close fights with B level operators?

Recieved a few gifts as well?:yep

Nothing is going to change the fact that Castillo was nothing more than a B+ all in all.

you believe margarito is a bum?? your hero mayweather does not because he would not put his undefeated record on the line for a career high payday against this man. it is a fact that mayweather feared this man because he knew he would get knocked out.

But Floyd struggled with Castillo greatly, that's not what any of the best ATG P4P guys would do. They'd wreck him with ease.

And Calzaghe has fought the best in his weight class, holds the best win of 2007 in fact.

I drove by a truck today that had painted on the back of it, in big black letters:

    "Mayweather is a *****"

Seems there are grafitti artists out there who agree with some of you guys!

Well, what do you call a cherry picking fighter that avoids the real challenges, despite having the ability to give ANY FIGHTER a massive payday, being one of the biggest draws in boxing.

Little Floyd Boys can crucify Calzaghe, but prior to 2006-2007, nobody internationally gave a **** about Calzaghe and therefore he could get no big fights drawing the kind of money that other big fighters want for the risk of fighting another elite.

Not the case with Floyd, every WW would love to fight him and two would beat him. It's sad that he's universally considered the best of the generation when he proceed's to run his career in this fashion.
