I thought the same thing. Talking about Mayweather, imitating his pad work, imitating his rope work, mocking Mayweather, Hatton doesn't do this. Mayweather is really and seriously under Hatton's skin. Hatton is going to be wild, and Mayweather is going to pick him apart.

Nonsense. Ive never seen a man less bothered- THose in the UK may have seen the BBC 1 sports show last night where Hatton appeared as laid back as can be. Hatton has not been effected by Mayweather in a negative way. He's a lot smarter than he gets cresit. His unflapability has affected Flolyd tho. Roger Mayweather was putting Hatton down so much that if thats what he truly thinks then i can only assume he has never seen him fight. Cant wait for Saturday

I'm from the uk and I have the pleasure of watching Hatton over the years; I have never seen or heard him irritated by an opponent in this way barring Junior Witter (his uk arch nemesis). And even with Junior Witter, Hatton would not beat his chest and talk about he's gonna do this or that.

All I'm saying is Mayweather has clearly got to Hatton, and this may (emphasis on may) be his undoing in the fight. Contrary to the hype I can't see Hatton rail roading Mayweather; the key to his victory is to box his way into the pocket and apply measured pressure to body and head. If he's able to do this and weaken Mayweather that's when he should apply the tactics he dispatched Castillo with.

Fatton is clearly irritated. He's not used to someone talking trash to him like a traditional brash black American will do.

His camp is always going on about Floyd. Joking, carrying on. Floyds camp is like "Hatton who?" They do that to get under his skin, its working.

When Hatton sees what a joke Floyd made out of his training sessions he'll be even more pissed. The angrier hatton is fight night, the better Floyd will school him.

I don't think you understand that part of working class British (and aussies and kiwis) life is to constantly rip **** out of everyone.

The better you get on with someone, the more you rip the **** out of them.

Mayweather will come up with nothing that Hatton hasn't heard from his mates or in a pub, nothing. FFS, he even wore a TShirt calling himself "Fatton".

Do you think Floyd would wear a "Gayweather" t shirt???

Thats what I mean, hatin "takes the ****", there is a difference between that and trash talking. Floyd trash talks meaning, "**** you, **** yo momma, **** yo daddy and ya uncles. You ugly sonofabitch, im a gonna beat your ass and eat your children." Yadda yadda.

Thats trash talking. Thats why Hattons pissed off. He's never been disrespected like that.

Ricky's doin' his best to not be affected by the little ****, but his best (just like in the ring), falls short of Floyd's.

Watchin' him at the Press Conference in England WAILING away at his gum, you just know Floyd (and just the mere size of the fight), has gotten to him.

Read this the other night. Ali said he was afraid of Sonny Liston. Talked about him being one of the greatest, smartest fighters ever, plus we all know hard how he punched. Hatton will use any fear or anger to his advantage, as will Floyd. These guys have been on the big stage too long to freeze. This is all gamesmanship crap.

Lol i've never really thought about it, but black Americans really are the biggest **** talkers there are. Especially the further into the big cities you go.

Ps: this wasn't meant to be taken racially, just more powers of observation

Definately. Hatton's no Mike Tyson here, let's be honest. And by frustrating a bloke with Hatton's style BEFORE even fighting, plays RIGHT into Mayweather's hands...

Floyd has annoyed Hatton but has not gotten underneath his skin. Hatton will be his usual aggressive self and I doubt that he will allow himself to be fueled by anger and fight sloppy. That pasty ****er is supremely confident in himself and I don't think he thinks he can lose this fight.

    Personally, I hope he's right...

See, that there is just laughable **** because it's so ****ing pathetic..."**** yo momma, **** yo daddy" etc. What on earth does it 'mean'? He isn't really going to **** Hatton's daddy or momma or uncle, etc, is he? It's ****ing irrelevant and dumb.

There's nothing funny about it. The only person that will bother is another brash black American who can't laugh at himself.

Why would Hatton be pissed off?

He ****ing knows Mayweather is going to come up with the "it was just to promote the fight" bull**** afterwards like he always does.

Being insulted by Mayweather will be like being insulted by a special needs child to Hatton. Just laugh and pat them on the head, because you know they don't know any better.
