harrison/sprott is a real good recent one

interesting to hear IntentionalButt say williams/quintana 2...i was at that one...it was at mohegan....certainly would have been interesting to see quintana survive that and see how the fight played out....and i agree with the adage that you lean towards the guy who has done more over the total rounds fought between the two...but i dunno how much of a fluke that was

One of the best "flukes" I've ever seen happened back when The Contender did that USA/Britian series. Furious Freddy Curiel was fighting Allen Minter's kid, Ross "The Boss" Minter, and getting his little ass whipped!

Going into the last round little Freddy's face looked like somebody beat him with a brick, and he had lost pretty much every second of every round. With about 30 seconds left in the fight Minter had Curiel on the ropes whoopin' his ass, and all of a sudden Freddy came up with a right hand from hell, and fight over.

Freddy Curiel has a 27% KO ratio, and had not stopped anyone in 5 years!

He set it up with the shoulder. Don't think that can be described as a fluke.

Foreman - Moorer. Moorer was dominating the fight and Foreman caught him with a straight right out of nowhere that put his lights out.

Lewis - Bruno. Bruno had Lewis hemmed up and was banging away at him in the corner in the 7th. Lewis cocked his arm back and threw a massive hail mary punch, a left hook if I remember rightly, that connected cleanly on Bruno's head and wobbled him. Lewis managed to finish him after being in serious trouble, earning the stoppage.

Yeah but I didn't want to rule out the possiblity that that probably was a legit ko. Slim, slim, slim chance also due to the fact Ali was not a puncher and Liston had a very good chin. Most likely the fight was a thrown fight though.
