Ecklund wasn't a former 130-pound champion and Ray Leonard was on his 13th pro fight. This line of thought makes not a huge amount of sense, RTB. I might as well say that if the drunken master can bloody Floyd up at 135 then Leonard would murder him in the first round at 147. That wouldn't hold any water either.
