Eze does have a point regarding the scorecards. Cause OVER 50% of the cards you will see will actually be scored for MAYWEATHER, although over 50% of people on this board probably CLAIM that Castillo won. Me thinks it has just a LITTLE bit to do with how people generally regard him. If he was well liked, no one would claim this was a robbery.

Interesting thought, yes. Tough to prove though.

    1. FMJ
    2. FMJ
    3. FMJ
    4. FMJ
    5. FMJ - 50-45
    6. JLC
    7. JLC - 68-65
    8. JLC (9-9 round) - 77-74 ( point deduction left hook on the break)
    9. JLC - 86-84
    10. FMJ (9-9 round) - 95-93 ( point deducted from Floyd for the use of the left firearm repeatedly)
    11. JLC - 104-103
    12. Even round - 114-113 FMJ

Mayweather sweaps the first five, no doubts about it and scores in my view a knockdown in round 2 which would make it a 10-8 round for him ( left hook connected as JLC stumbled backwards), then JLC got thumbed accidentally in the eye; Castillo won all rounds until the tenth but Floyd wins the tenth clearly as he goes toe to toe with JLC and stops cruising around the ring ( gets a point deducted there) and JLC comes all over again with body work, educated pressure and counter-shots to win the 11th; the last stanza was too damn close to give it to any one - so it could have been a draw if one would give the last rd to JLC or a 2 points win to Floyd, I made the 12th even and still Floyd won the hardest fight of his career so far. Just an afterthought, Hatton cannot jab like Castillo did nor use the right counter as much, but he can make it extremelly uncomfortable for Floyd with double left hooks downstairs and switching upstairs in close, that was obvious in that second half of the fight between JLC and FMJ.

Thats not true either. Boxing has a history of being corrupt. Giving close fights to young up and commers over veterans with one foot out the door. Hence the words; GIFT, and ROBBERY which are so often used in boxing.

Official record, bystander boxing fans, yes.. He is undefeated.

Lovers of boxing? While it isn't the one distinguishing mark of a lover of boxing. I would say all SANE lovers of boxing can dispute several fights in the history of boxing.. Don't make be bring up Larry Holmes.

I need to watch it again, to see if I come up with a different score again.

Are you saying Mayweather paid the judges off?

    Hell no.

In situations where there is a robbery, I would suspect gamblers and promoters before fighters themselves.

Castillo clearly won a close fight in the first one... Mayweather clearly won a close fight in the second fight. There is a reason why Mayweather fought Castillo again, and it is because he knew deep down that Castillo beat him.
