Good fight, I had diaz winning 6 rounds to 4 just like teddy!!

I'm watching this again now after jumping ship and doing a RBR for the Showtime card after the first round.

BTW, that Salcido-Sanchez bout was terribly boring. It was mostly Sanchez's fault, and he's a dick; I'm glad he lost (it seemed to be the right decision, too). The Showtime 8-rounder between Paris and Santiago was much better.

I stand by my earlier scoring of the 1st round to Ngoudjo. He got outboxed for spells but landed the most damaging shots of the round with his right hand.

Ngoudjo's jab kind of sucks. Heck of a right, though.

In the 2nd round Herman missed too much. Julio did as well but seemed in control and worked well to the body.

3rd, and Diaz is mostly outworking Ngoudjo but getting the worse of the exchanges when Ngoudjo does throw.

It looks like my decision to go with Showtime was a good instinct. Dzinziruk-Dawson was one-sided but featured much cleaner work than this one so far.

4th is close, Ngoudjo goes for the late steal.

Sharp 5th for Diaz, he's 3-2 for me now.

Diaz accurate and laterally mobile in the 6th. 4-2.

When and whence did Julio Diaz obtain a DLH-like left hook? :blood

Ngoudjo also landing a couple of right hands but he's a one-punch pony tonight. Diaz going to the body again.

8th: a couple more nice right hands from Ngoudjo, but largely outlanded by Diaz. He's down now 6 rounds to 2 on my card.

Diaz bombing away in the 9th. He keeps pounding the body of Ngoudjo even while in a headlock - what's called a guillotine choke in MMA (before Cortez ixnayed it). That's dedication.

10th is rough and dirty business. Diaz able to box in moments as he's been doing for several rounds but Ngoudjo wants it.

98-92 Diaz is what I finished up with...a couple of those rounds were close, though. I may have been rewarding Diaz for rounds in which he wasn't as offensively effective just because of the wild misses of Ngoudjo.
