My thoughts exactly, I would still fancy him to win and have too much ability but this certainly narrows the gap for me. The fight is gonna be in June? That’s 16 months out of the ring.
He's been training regularly according to the clips he's been posting on Instagram. That's all the evidence there is.
We all know Fury can easily do 12 rounds in this condition, but as Tyson posts training footage and nutrition pictures on his Instagram every single day I’m a little surprised how he hasn’t pushed on physically from the Wilder rematch. Still, the AJ fight hasn’t even been announced yet and he’s not ‘in camp’ so I guess it means nothing.
He looks mentally sound at the moment. That concerns me the most. He got to keep it on the straight and narrow.
He looks a few pounds heavier than his ideal weight but remember the lighting in the video and long shorts won’t be doing him any favours there. When the time comes he’ll be fine.
He’s never looked aesthetically pleasing and never will. The worries I’d have about Fury have been mentioned by others in previous threads - the toll of the lifestyle he WAS living and the inactivity. However I don’t expect either to be an issue in this fight, I’d expect both fighters to come in, in their career best conditions for the fight of a lifetime, one for the ages, the biggest UK fight of all time.
Fury hasn't been blessed with the abercrombie genes. I doubt you could ever get him to look like an instagram model no matter the training or diet.
I think the fact the shorts seem to be a bit small for him don’t help. I think he’ll be fine come fight time. I think he’s been staying fit. A couple of months in a full camp and he’ll be ready.
He's about 20 stone there, maybe 21. Should fall off him in camp. He's always been aesthetically poor to look at, gives us mortals hope when fat lads win world titles.
