    Thanks for the article.

    So interesting that his favorite boxer is Dempsey. I'd have thought Fitzsimmons (his ATG P4P) or Jeffries (his ATG Heavy). Shows you don't have to string along with your favorite (though he does regard both Dempsey's as true greats).

    Actually ... I'm assuming he means The Mauler ....:think

    I agree. He and I chat via email from time to time. Callis is the benchmark for boxing historians. As a person he is modest and a gentleman.
