Forrest vs Margarito who wins?

Margarito would have his ass handed to him and get a boxing lesson.

 

May have happened 5-10 years ago, but not now. Forrest a little too shopworn to beat Margarito via superwide UD.

 

At 154 Forrest wins. He will give Margo fits with his jab and he has more than enough pop to get Margo's respect. He wins this fight by UD.

 

It's unbelievable isnt it? Forrest would KILL Margarito, Margarito is nothing like Mayorga and does not hit nearly as hard as Mayo did at 147, nor does he have the chin Mayo had, not even close.

How this guy got so overrated is beyond me.

Look at how Clottey tagged his ass at will in the first 4, are we to believe that Forrest isn't going to be landing his best shots off the end of that long jab? And do some of you not realise that Forrest has a very good defence? How about lengthy Paul Williams easily outboxing and outworking Margarito? A guy with NO defence and nothing in the same region of boxing skill as Forrest, nor any power.

Margarito is not even in this league.... slap yourselves. Sometimes I am just utterly amazed. This would be a shutout, probably a stoppage on accumulation for Forrest.

Margarito would knock Forrest out.

 

Forrest decision. I think he could use his jab and technical skills to outbox Margarito much like Clottey did for the first 4 rounds. Margarito will take a few of rounds due to workrate and being the agressor, but Forrest should be able to exploit Marg's defencive holes and pull out a decision.

He's the worst style for Margarito out of the entire 147-154 lot.

 

Margarito by decision or possible stoppage ... I don't know if Forrest's shoulder would hold up against someone like Margarito ... he had trouble with Ike Quartey ...

 

Ike's a level up and Forrest has looked rejuvenated lately.

Clottey's speed is what won him maybe 3 AT best of the first 4 rounds.
