    Aside from Marciano and an aging Ezzard Charles the division was fairly poor in those days.

    Rocky Marciano, Champion

    Nino Valdes
    Ezzard Charles
    Dan Bucceroni
    Roland LaStarza
    Earl Walls
    Don Cockell
    Clarence Henry
    Tommy Harrison
    Bob Satterfield
    Coley Wallace

    There just wasn't much depth to it and the list of top contenders changed up regularly as one fighter would lose to the next. Atleast they fought each other, though.
